Just rewatched this tango dance chhoreographed by Marina Zueva. It has truly has stood the test of time, it's Oct 2024 and it STILL looks current. Really miss this calibre of skating. When Virtue & Moir retired it was the end of a spectacular era in ice dance.

they have always been magnificent since they were young, and now they are the King and Queen of ice dancing, and they competed and were very close in the scores of Marie France and Patrice lauzon that today are their coaches this is insane

yeah, i read something recently about how Tessa and Scott always thought of their current coaches (Marie-France and PAtrice) as mentors. And even when they competed against them, Marie-France and Patrice thought of them as the future of ice dance and not as their competition.

There are moments of pure enchantment to watch how Scott Moir masterfully guides the excellent dancer that is Tessa Virtue. Scott and Tessa are completely compatible in terms of skills in the Art of Ice Dance, and they 😮complement each other perfectly. Neither of them is better than the other, they are both very good Athletes in the Art of the Ice Dance, and they deserve each other.
