Imam Mahdi will appear just before the 10 major signs appear before the last Hour to come. And the 10 major signs will appear after some 2nd century (mishkat 5460, ibn majah). And now the nearest 2nd century is 2200 AH [1000+200(2778 AD)] that's after 754 years from now(2024). Today we are in 1446 AH[1000+446 (2024 AD) ] that's in 5th century and after completion of this millennium and start of next millennium's 2nd century there is possibility of appearance of major signs if still after 2200 AH major signs will not appear then we have to wait for next millennium's 2nd century (3200 AH) and so on and so on. Minor signs have no definite time period they will remain appearing till 10 major signs appear.
