Great video, if by the Grace of God my little sister ever reverts back to the Faith I will share this video with her. Women who pattern themselves after our most glorious Queen of the Cosmos are powerful counterrevolutionaries. As a sidenote, on displays of affection, I think I’d abide by Fr. Ripperger’s advice and do my best to avoid even hand-holding until we would be engaged (after the ancient rite of betrothal of course lol!) and even while engaged keep it limited to the things you’ve mentioned. I think achieving self-mastery over the passions in regard to one another would be a tremendous gift - a sort of fortification of the will that has multiple applications, it would enable us to be kinder and less selfish to one another in light of whatever tumultuous challenges we’d encounter later on.

What about dating someone who is not Catholic? My Dad was Protestant when he met and started seeing his first wife. He had no problem raising kids Catholic. He became Catholic and was strong. He became a member of the Legion of Mary and had a great love for Our Lady. His first wife died and he met my Mom. She was Catholic. They knew what role faith would have. They married in the Church and their faith was a priority. The Mass and Sacraments, a prayer life and being involved in the parish were important. The Rosary was a prayer we did during Lent but as years went on Dad did more and eventually did five decades a day. Mom took longer but when she was dying she did the Rosary a few times. She died holding the Rosary and wearing the Green Scapular. She had Last Rites and a beautiful funeral Mass. Dad lived another ten years and prayed the Five decades of the Rosary a day. As his health failed, he would fall asleep and get through maybe two decades. They both became devoted to the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. I prayed the Chaplet at their death bed. Both died with Last Rites and had lots of Masses offered for them. Mass/Sacraments, prayer especially the Rosary-at least 5 decades and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy worked for them. Dad's first wife was very devouted to Our Lady and the faith. This is essential for their relationship. And Dad was drawn to the faith because of it.

Don't date outside the church. They don't always convert even if you're an excellent example and missionary. Having grown up in a multi faith home and having married a woman of a dif faith (before I became Catholic) I have 2 excellent examples of how it can be toxic and awful. Spare yourself the trouble and spare your kids the confusion. Stay in the church.

@@TheCatholicRose You're welcome, Rose :-) My spiritual director after years, have thankfully narrowed down the vocation discernment to just (what a relief, that was long, decades in the making even, and very tough): married and single blessedness, pray bestfriend Jesus makes it crystal clear finally, preferably before Christmas, so that I may have my peace and also be more focused with my time and resources coz' by that time, I'm just focusing on one vocation, the one God really wants for me (single blessedness has the weakest pull but I'm open). How about you, which of the three is your vocation, if that's ok to ask?

There are not many conservatives who care about family or tradition out there. I was 20 Years old and I thought God was calling me to become nun while I am studying in college. There was a Protestant guy who was very mean to me and he used God in vain by telling me he was going to pray for me to become a nun.
