The problem isn't that you were running the virus. The problem was that it was still Tuesday when you guessed the correct number. Normally, the system time would no longer be on that obscure memory address, and so the virus would not reactivate.

yes, it's a part of another payload that I couldn't get to work, it displays that when ctrl+alt+del is pressed on the first of the month but since it doesn't work, I can't show it.

I swear "The Nuker" was friends with the author of the Casino virus for its payload is similar in a way that you have to gamble your chances or else it will format your hard disk on reboot. And that both talk about destroying the FAT and saving its copy within the virus ' s memory. Either that or "The Nuker" was another alias for Casino's author.

I got a really bad virus when i was a little kid. A big skull appeared on the screen and then PC = dead. The power button was inactive. (but this is just what i remember, it might be wrong, i got it when i was about 5 yrs old.) I dont remember if it didnt power up again (maybe it did... I dont remember)... But i remember that the service said that there is nothing to save from it. Then i got a new one. (but with no internet) :( Do you know that virus?
