The phone number displayed in the pop ups is a fake phone number. I changed it from the real 1-800 number that was originally displayed in the pop up virus alert.

Yeah. I debated doing Alt F4 vs. Ctrl Alt Del vs. Ctrl Shift Esc. Alt F4 is faster, but I wanted to avoid the situation where someone could be on a Windows laptop where their function keys are disabled unless they toggle the “Fn” key on the keyboard (which some Windows laptops have). But yes, Alt F4 is much faster. 😎

Yes, there is a slight chance of that happening. I debated whether to include that step in the video but ultimately decided it was necessary. I wanted to ensure viewers had that option instead of panicking and not knowing what to do, which might lead them instead to call the phone number on their screen and make their situation worse. Additionally, I didn't mention clicking/tapping the power button because it could put their computer to sleep, depending on its configuration. Then when they wake the computer up, the fake virus pop-up would still be on their screen. I appreciate your comment. You're right, unplugging the computer isn't the best method and should be avoided whenever possible.
