Thank you thank you thank you for reaction. And thank you for DIMASH. This song is very cool! DIMASH is AMAZING! Greetings from Russia.

The song Durdaraz by the Kazakh poet-improviser and composer Eshniyazsal Meidimululy (1834-1902) He was one of the most prominent representatives of Kui in the country. This folk song has a very lyrical text, but Dimash sings it in his native language very powerfully, almost in a fighting manner. In addition, synchronous somersaults in a confined space and elements of the kata (martial art) integrated into the dance. * Kui are musical compositions for mainly string instruments (Dombra, Kobyz). Kazakh nomads expressed all of their daily life, surroundings, events and feelings through kuis. In Kazakh culture, kuis were learned by heart and passed on from generation to generation without any written fixing. The music is usually accompanied by stories and legends told by the kuishi (kui performer).

A Kazakh noble forehead is high and wide, and in national dress, the women wear high peaked hats with veils off the back, showcasing their face, and noble features. Kazakhs are taught to be quiet, dignified and humble to revere their elders and seek their advice in all things, and honor their religion, parents, family, customs and tradition and importatntly, their homeland. Dimash has been raised from birth as they all are to behave this way at all times.

You wrote perfectly that female NEM often means YES, (hahaha) is the eternal theme, female logic,,, it's a lovely kazakh song that Dimash (very well) rethinked and has a new orchestration,,, rhythmic, modern sound, but still has the Kazakh tradition. Greetings from Hungary

KAZAKH, not Kazakhatani, he is a direct descendant of the Nomads of steppes, he lives traditonally, 3 generations of the entire extended family under one roof. They do not leave home until marriage, the men bring their brides home to live and in that tradition, as the eldest son, and first born, he was presented to his paternal grandparents to raise. His grandmother quit her job to do so and he calls them Momma and Poppa. She calls him "my soul".and was the person who took him at 5 years old to the most diatinguished music academy in the country, waited all day in hallways, standing on painful legs and knees and walked out at days end with the youngest student in its history. Their ancient icons are the horse, eagle, wolf, fire and their mountains. You will usually see one or more in videos and his live performances.

😂😂😂 very funny reaction! I've seen a couple different translations of this song and they are all slightly different so don't get hung up on the literal meanings. Some things just don't translate perfectly into English. But I have heard that this is about people arguing in a tea shop and acting like teenagers! See you at the next reaction.

First things first, you don’t want a sloped forehead, you want a noble forehead. (The implication being that current beauty standards don’t promote a Neanderthal look.). Don’t know how I’d respond to it as a compliment, but I’m from Canada - things could be different in Kazakhstan! The second point, I think the question from the girl is complaining that he - being Dimash - doesn’t visit her enough (why can’t she visit him instead? “You don’t come to me!”). Whiny nonsense borne of insecurities. A common complaint from younger couples. I love that you’re trying to interpret the translated text. Sometimes translations don’t truly give the intended meaning. Listening often gives us enough without overthinking it, but I agree the duelling dombras add to the thematic value of this “lit” piece of music! Cheers!
