I have yet to meet an international student who came to really study. 100% used the IS program cause they said it's the fastest way to get here and really intend to find a way to stay permanently. That's why Canada should start putting an exit date on an international student visa.

7:31 it’s a sticky situation if it’s allowed by immigration law for a student to apply for permanent residency yet you are “seemingly” not allowed to “say it out loud” on visa interviews as this may result in denial. The culprit is the “dual intent” built in on the student visa that should be REMOVED, or Canada will retain this immigration thorn on its side.

I agree! They assume that anyone who comes to Canada has the intention to stay permanently(which is true) and yet you can't say it out loud as it may be used as ground for refusal.

2 times Po Ako na refused work permit visa, pero napa approved ko, ito Yung mga refusal, no significant family ties, limited employment possibility and unable to demonstrate the job you seek. Kailangan lng natin sagutin Ang mga refusal grounds para ma approved Ang Visa, mag submit lng Ng explanation letter at more evidence lng

They should have done this strictness a long time ago. I'm sorry but I know a few who are already citizens and they "faked" something in their application. Kung hibdi PR ang habol dyan, hindi na kailangan mag international student. Mag aral ng mga in demand courses dito sa atin. Pwede ring mag apply kahit saan gusto pag nag aral ng mabuti.

Immigration Minister Mark Miller said that student visas have been using the iprogram as a “cheap way” to obtain permanent residency and citizenship in Canada. "People should be coming here to educate themselves and perhaps go home and bring those skills back to their country.” BS yung "dual intent." Be honest... PR lang talaga ang habol nyo.

Kung hindi PR ang habol, hindi na nila kailangan maging student dyan. Mag aral nalang ng mga in demand courses dito sa atin at mag apply kahit saan gusto.

Everyone knew 99% of Intl student is for immigration, not to get educated. Why pay too much for a one year post grad course. Yung mga naka enrol sa Bachelors or Masters,Phd in a university ang hindi pagdududahan.

Let's face it, almost 90% naman ng Statement of Purpose(SOP) ay professionally done by ghost reps. But it's true, when making SOP, it should be direct to the point and avoid using flowery words. Yung madaming hanash na SOP😂. But the key to all of these ay "honesty at consistency"👍

Paano po ba ma increase ang points ,pra sa Express Entry sa pagkuha ng PR,Nakapagtapos po ako ng 2 yrs course as Intl students may fuul time job ako sa isang hotel sa Toronyo ,naging manager po ako now 5 months . Ang score ko sa ngyn 470 ,e kailangan po 530 daw to get PR.ano pa po ba dapt gawin ko ? khit eTA application mahigpit na yta, brother in law ko na-deny din buti nlng mura lng ang fee $7cad lng, rere-assess kmi then re-submit w/ attached invitation letter ko sknla w/ my Canadian passport hope ma-strengthen yung application, imagine eTA lng yan ha for a 3 day visit here sa Toronto, haaay higpit na tlga ngyn😢

@ May US visa na sila, before not too long ago, na-include ang pinas sa mga countries na ina-lloow to enter Canada w/o Canadian Visa as long as may active US visa ka pa
