Hi! I noticed that the form you put on the description is not the same as the one I find on embassy’s website. The one I see on embassy’s website is called “Application for Residence Permit”, not “… for the purpose of study”. Which one do you think is correct? I’ll be a bachelor student this year.

Hi! There are different types of residence permit like for study, work, family purposes. Depending on that forms can vary. Also, for different countries forms and documents package can vary. To be on the safe side call the embassy in your country and ask which forms and appendix you need to fill. If they don't reply, fill both forms and bring during your visa appointment. When you show both forms, they will take the relevant one. My experience: When I was applying for a visa, on the website the form was different (it was general form). I contacted the embassy via email and they told me to fill and bring another form, which is just for students (the attached one). There were guys who filled general form, during visa application they were asked to fill student form additionally

It can come from any sponsor. You just need to submit the letter from that person and his income certificate

Hi, this is really an informative and nice video with an excellent presentation. I am a Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship awardee of 2021-2022 for a Ph.D. at the University of Debrecen. My query is, do I need to show/present a Bank Statement or proof of income as well as a sponsor during visa application? You have mentioned it in your video but I am not clear about it. And can I have a visa application check lists?

Hi! I am happy that it was useful for you) Congratulations! PhD students do not have to provide an additional income certificate, since the scholarship is enough for coving the basic needs. The checklist is available in the video (00:32), you can also contact the local Hungarian authority regarding all types of document)

Hi! It highly depends on the person. This and last year there was a huge inflation as well. Meaning that if you live in the dorm, your scholarship will be enough or less to cover your basic needs like grocery, detergent, monthly transport ticket.
