This is 4th episode of our Himachal Pradesh tour that started on 24th september 2020 and we ended our journey on 9th october 2020.

We gave Rs 400 to the guide as mark of gesture, he is a good guy, you can take his services, if needed for local sightseeing but he has shallow knowledge of Barot but yes he can be of local help in Baragram area, in terms of fixing meal at a local dhaba etc he can be of help.Plus he can also accompany you to the waterfall.
Place where we had our lunch before the 1st waterfall visit, they also have a homestay, but incidentally i don’t have misplaces the contact number, but if you speak to guide he can share their number with you.

They are not vegetable vendor dude . Everyone in himachal have thier own field and work on thier own they store food and eat them. This isnt thier source of income , they are self sufficient for food and also nk one hesitate to work on thier fields , the vegtable werent for selling they were taking them large sellers (distributor,)

The waterfall shown at 19 minutes is Lapas waterfall in Lapas village (big village) and good news is, now there is a homestay (4 bedroom) in Lapas. I visited in Oct 2021. The village does not have pakka road but saw Alto cars parked in front of homes. We went by taxi from Multhan (Rs.500, driver waited for us to return from waterfall) but taxi drops outside the village. We then went through the village, fields and it was super lovely. Bathing in the waterfall was great and the only food stall there, we enjoyed tea. Some tents were there to change clothes and they were not bad at all.

It was interesting at Barot valley. Especially, when you interacted with locals and had local meals. The visit to two waterfalls was the highlight of this visit. A special mention of local vegetables and rajmah was good initiative which is helpful for other tourists visiting this place. The video will remain fresh in my mind.
