Harishji, this Karnataka series is turning out to be a wonderful one. I never had Karnataka in my list except for the Nagarahole/bandipore national park area. After watching the series, i have made up my mind that i will cover coastal Karnataka for sure as this is so beautiful. Maybe not promoted the way Kerala promotes tourism. Karnataka in general has excellent tourism potential and offers great facilities at relatively better rates. The food is awesome, with unique blend of local flavours. The eating habits vary widely between Coastal, Southern and Hyderabad karnataka and each is an experience by itself. The beaches of Gokarna were presented wonderfully. The traditional items for breakfast were the highlight. Thanks for putting these together... Awesome!

My hometown is kumta in Uttara kannada district .Very glad that you are visiting kumta. I would like to say that you should have lunch in any havyaka Brahmins house and try the following dishes - Rice, huli (sambar), Raw Mango Tambli(buttermilk dish) Bajji (raita prepared in a different style ) I am sure you will like it, make sure to visit mirjan fort, nature walk in kumta and do visit Saraswati Vidya Kendra School , it is on top of a hill from where you can see the beautiful view of whole kumta on one side and arabian sea on the other side, It's amazing. Also make sure to visit bangalore Bakery in kumta near the old bus stand, he has amazing local sweets like - tod dev (made from sugarcane juice), manora, kaayi holige etc While you are in coastal karnataka you must try the following food items - Gensale ( sweet stuffed with jaggery and coconut, cooked in a special leaf, It's amazing! !!) Neeru mudde Beetroot cutlets Kesari bath

Harishji...I am Avinash Choudhari from Sirsi but working in UAE. Your video "costal Karnataka" Gokarna to Yellapur " is very heart warming to watch and feel very happy. My request to you is visit Sirsi for the historical temple of Marikambe devi, Shankar honda birth place of river Aghanashini , Sodhe math, and the nearby places like Banvasi (capital of Kadamba dynasty), Sharshalinga and many waterfalls like Jog falls, Unchalli falls, Magod falls, Sathodi falls, Benne holle, Burude falls, Vibhuthi falls,..etc. "Yana" is another historical and mythical place of interest. Sirsi is also know for Arecanut and green forest. Sirsi devi jatre is one of the largest jatre in Karnataka. Bedarvesha is a unique and local folk dance celebrated once is 2 years. "Thodadeva" is a special sweet paper thin and prepared from sugarcane juice . There is lot more to discover in and around Sirsi. A series based on Sirsi is expected from you.
