Bruh fish is always expensive in Goa even for locals....us Goans have high standard of living so even a low middle class men also spends avg 500 rupees on fish everyday ....

fish is expensive anyways the main reason is compared to other meat , it has less shelf life , and breeding is not easy people have to get it fresh from the fishing zones and it is highly regulated.

This is in Martin's corner. One of the best restaurants in Goa. There are a lot of foreigners and travelers who visit there, so it's expensive. Cheap options are also available in Goa. But yeah Goa is costly because of tourism.

What a contrast location you have chosen right from Sikkim to down western coastal area Goa...... This month is the beginning of moderate climate season in Goa... If you see few months back it would have been hot & humid or rainy season..... Your choice of dresses are always matching to the place where you are.... Try to eat surmai fish fry they are very tasty and yummy.... but you have to be careful while eating because there are lot of kata in it..... Fish curry with rice is very common in coastal south india.... Goa is the Fish cuisine Paradise of India....... Hands down there is no comparison at all.... I liked the Fish curry & rice combination very much as its my all time fav and also Surmai fry which you didn't show but these are my fav....

Hi Harish, Thanks for this wonderful video. Being a Goan, I would say that Goa has broadly 2 types of cuisine one the Saraswat and second the food of Christian community, both are very different in the way of preparation and ingredients. I have tasted both and it would be good to see in future someone exploring the depth of the Saraswat or the Hindu cuisine. The taste, aroma, depth of flavors, style , color everything is different. I won’t say one is good and other is bad, but maybe it’s worth checking out.
