Great video! I love how you selected and discussed blush and lip pairing. I often find myself with a nice eye look but then I don’t know what to do for a lip to coordinate. That would be a fun video to see!! ❤❤❤happy holidays!

I love the Violet Vespertine because I love deeper eggplant tones mixed with taupe and/or golden tones. I see myself using Violtet Vespertine so often. I bought both because, like you, Cashmerie and Violet are two of my favs. I'm thrilled with these two "sister palettes"!!!

They did an outstanding job curating these palettes and I think the Violette Vespertine is my fav if I had to choose. I bet you never thought you might love something as much or more than the original Cashmerie you adore so much. Beautiful looks and swatches...thank you for confirming these are necessary lol. 😂❤

I have a few small tiny palettes and for me, just ok and the colour story doesen't do it for me but on saying that I too take one travelling 😊

Great review. I love Vespertine and have been wearing it non stop since I got it. I have been on the fence with the Cashmerie extension. But in your lighting it looks wonderful. Here's my dilemma. I have Natasha Denona's My Dream palette in a drawer, and it has some rusts in it. Could I get the same look as the Cashmerie Charmeuse? If I can't, I'll be getting the Viseart one. Also, I still haven't picked up Prunoir. Are you still in love with it? I need a sheer lipstick in that color, but don't want feathering. What do you think? I want to thank you for recommending Valentino Emozione. So pretty! It is similar to a gold version of the Chanel Fantaisie blush from Spring. I love that blush/highlighter type of product. I don't have My Dream but I think you could get some similar looks but I think the Viseart is duskier / smokier. As for Prunoir, it is one of my current favorites still! I would get it but just use a lip liner smudged on the edges first. I like the Sephora Bellflower lip pencil with it as they are a good match. I'm so glad you love the Valentino! And yes I am thinking of a second Chantecaille powder - I will check those out - thank you so much!

@@LexiJong Glad if I helped. I need a good prune lipstick. Bobbi Brown (before the sale) used to make one that I used a lot. Year round. It was a similar color. I always wear lip liner so have a variety. I think I'll try that one. Do you have that red holiday Valentino? The matte one? If so, what do you think of it?

I like the Charmeuse with the more muted shades 😊maybe an odd thought but it gives me a similar overall vibe as Minxette but as the cooler rosy sister. Both are soft and elegant but you could also do more sultry evening looks at least as a fair person

The cooler one is a good match, it isn't really shimmery / glittery but has a metallic vibe to it.

Dear Lexi, How do you compare the mattes from the two new palettes with Grande Pro X mattes? Any repeating colors?Is't necessary to get any of this if already own the Grande Pro X? Thanks.

Honestly, you can create pretty much anything with the grande pro palettes. A few of these shades have dustier tones to them while the tones in the Grande Pro are more clear (and bright in a way). You could mix mattes from the Grande Pro to get similar shades imo.

I would choose the Violette Vespertine or the original Cashmerie. I think the stronger purple tones in the Violette Vespertine though make it more of a first choice. The purple really brings out the golden glints in brown eyes.

Im in love with that Whats up beauty highlight in the cooler toned one . That animal print on the packaging and product always get me . * A 3 year shelf life 😮 these brands need to learn from them . They need to get you to do their swatches cause yours looked so much better and smoother then the swatches they did on their site . Idk i think im more attracted to the violet one the other one seems to be very midtone not many light pops of color .
