Malefic replacing incantation is perfect. You are getting the aura effect one way or another and it is zero cost....it can turn on dhrill by itself

Exactly! And just knowing that we’re more than likely generating two on the back end (vis trigger & malefic trigger when we play an attack action) it just provides more value than Runeblood imo.

I've been running condemned to slaughter alongside Nebula blade.... The reason is since it can Target your weapon on a turn where I don't have a good attacked a parrot with. I can at least swing for seven and if I'm leaving the turn with a Rune chant I can attempt to remove an aura on the opponent's side from my path

The condemned/nebula strategy is so good for sure. I don’t discount that side of vis at all! In a reaping list, the resources are better spent on a 2 cost attack though. That said, aura disruption could very well become the meta tech so I could see that card becoming much more viable as we move forward.

Nice! Yeah I was slowly cutting it out bc when you have the combo, it’s incredible. Otherwise, it’s just a dead card in hand. You can slow cook it in arsenal but with so much Arsenal hate these days, it’s not safe there either. I’m finding more consistency than ever before without it tbh!

@@_Br33zy the problem i find with revel is that It has an anti-synergy with the idea of starting the turn with a rune chant in order to lead attacks. It is good for the reach on a mordrid tide turn to hurt the opponent but sometimes it just gets in the way because it has a very specific place that it needs to be played

@@_Br33zy on a personal note, as much as I love mauvrion skies, it is a linchpin card because viserai has lacked alternatives. It is a two block that basically is a nine of... The newer cards finally let you explore a different paradigm because let's be honest with ourselves people who know what they're doing. Block out the movery in skies and The days when you would catch an opponent who didn't know that have been long past I feel like the card itself has been a gilded cage for viserai players for a very long time

Arcane cussing is the power creep of blood spill invocation and to be honest it is the blood spill as it should have always been. As a side note, I don't run room flash anymore. I've run Rune Ranger swarm because the purpose of Rune flash has always been an extender, but it hamstrings you in resources. You're not normally doing it to drive through and on hit so it's really just a chain extender and one damage. But for the ease of use of free I will take as trade

Cussing is amazing and it was hard to cut from the preliminary list. I can 100% see the argument to have it in the list though. Rune flash has been more clutch for me lately than a burden, though I’m all too familiar with its resource driven pitfalls. I’ve actually found myself holding onto runechants to end the turn so that the start of my next turn is invested in for things like flash. It’s a very easy card to sub out now that we have so many new tools, so I could see cause for it to be replaced!

Bruh why play arcanic spike ??? Just play shrill for the for sure buff.

In my testing, we’re swinging spike with arcane threat more times than not. It forces the opp to get in the tank and decide if we’re getting the buff. Ending the turn with a chant on deck helps a lot. We’re doing that by swinging a 1 cost attack to end the chain rather than reaping. That said, there’s also a reason the list has 9 shrill and only 3 spikes. Shrill is still better, but spike is a pseudo red shrill more times than not. Worst case, it’s still a two card block on a Mauv turn.
