As per your words top load washing machine tub can be filled upto 75% and front load washing machine can be filled upto 85%. But front load washing machine comes with smaller tub size than top load. So in comparison top load washing machine has more capacity to accommodate clothes. Power consumption is more in front load washing machine as it has longer washing time. Wash quality is same for both. Front load washing machine only consumes less water and and detergent in comparison to top load. Moreover, front load washing machine is much costly and maintenance cost is also very high.

Wash quality will only be similar if you use warm water with a top loader. Most people do not and tap temperature can vary throughout the year and time of day. A front loader gives you a consistent result because it will heat the water to a fixed temperature. I see no reason to recommend a top loader at all for this reason. The wash quality with a front loader means better stain removal any day. Go with a front loader and choose LG. A top loader is only good with light to medium soil. Anything more requires a soak which extends the wash time. There is no soak with front loaders. Most loads complete in an hour and half otherwise close to three hours. I don't mind nd waiting if it means clean clothes

Power consumption will be more due to the heater but if you can afford a front loader then is Rs. 100 odd extra per month in power cost really such a burden? I want a machine that cleans clothes well so the extra cost is well worth it. My measured consumption is 15 units per month

@@Dhruv-Kumar you can sit on a stool when loading and unloading. Wash quality is definitely not the same when clothes are more soiled. You get what you pay for. If you want the best wash quality regardless of soil go with a front loader. If you cannot afford one then save up.

Power consumption of top load was mentioned 0.0093 KWh, and for front load it was mentioned 0.062 kWh. Then how come we say front load consumes less power?

Those power consumption numbers are recorded without using the heater. It's recommended to wash at 40 degrees which will consume 0.25 units per wash. At 60 degrees it will be 0.5 units per wash. Top loader does not have a heater so will consume less but wash quality in colder won't be good with stains.
