Top loading Reasons being 1. Works even if there’s no running water. You can fill from the top. Especially in summer in places with water problem. When power goes off you can still open the machine and remove clothes. 2. Those people with a back problem, if you have to bend and take out heavy clothes like bed sheets.. top load is easier. 3. Repairs are less in top loading machines 4. Cost effective. I have used both top loading and front loading machines.
