His anime theme showed his loyalty to the German military before he met Joseph, his EoH theme shows his heroic side when fighting Kars with Joseph and this theme is like the theme of his final moment at Stalingrad. What a perfect theme trilogy to a perfect character

I actually agree ! The violin bit really brings out a more heroic yet tragic side to the theme (then again I’m a huge Kingdom Hearts fan so every time I hear a violin i immediately get sad vibes lol) But overall I think you described this theme for Stroheim perfectly !

Not what I expected from Stroheim's theme! It's a little like his EoH one, with the strings and tech, and it's a banger! It's a nice mix of the two styles clashing together, a little like how he's a mech soldier Edit: Was listening to this song on the TV, and my mum looked up to see what song it was. Her first reaction was "JOJO?!" and I was like "Yeah, new DLC.". She then told me she looked up to see what song it was because she liked it and thought it sounded like it came from anything BUT JoJo

I keep on forgetting this is the same guy who gunned down an entire village just to take their blood. He was probably doing horrible stuff in Stalingrad if we're being honest. In fact, I think out of all the Jojo heroes he was probably burning in Hell instead of going to Heaven like Avdol or Iggy. Still a cool character tho lmao.

@@christophercarrasco154 that whole start of his character feels almost disconnected for me from how he acts later. Which can make sense, araki has been known to change plot points and characters mid story, IE fugo, so it could have been possible he started off with strohiem intending him to be a stereotypical asshole commander, but pivoted and made him more heroic and selfless. Some German soldiers didn’t even believe in n@zism and only fought for their country because it was their country and they loved it, which strohiem obviously does lol. There are plenty of stories portraying characters like this, see battlefield 5’s characters the last tiger campaign and das boot. I’ve always wondered if araki was trying to portray that idea with strohiem. But hey, that is his character so he is most likely not hanging with kakyoin in the afterlife Edit: I went to watch the last tiger cutscenes on here and, yeah still a really good story hits me hard still highly recommend, but I found a comment from myself talking about strohiem 4 years ago. so I guess my life is a circle

@@pajamapantsjack Well, some german soldiers fought because they had to, but even then you had to be a special kind of evil to be a high ranking SS soldier like Stroheim. And don't forget how much he tortured Stroheim, which is something Joseoh still didn't get back at him for. And Stroheim wanted to use the powers of the pillar men and stone masks for basically the same goal as Kars in the first place (conquering the world, ending most of mankind). He is cool but his awfulness as a human being is being overshadowed way too much by Arakis fixation on epic german cyborgism in my opinion

The Reason we all love Stroheim despite being a Nazi is that he does not fight against the Pillar Men for Germany alone, but for the sake of the whole World. He is proud to be German, proud of his Country and will do everything to ensure everyone knows about it‘s greatness, even if it means to sacrifice himself. That is the Character of Rudol von Stroheim and that‘s what we love about him.

And few people claims Dio (Part 1)'s ASB theme is Strohiem's theme and someone said it's too evil for him, although he's (partially) evil due to him being a nazi. His own theme in EoH, is slightly similar to Yukako's theme but some machine noises. And his second own theme in this game, has some war and tragic undertones in his theme.
