I discovered Vishten's music about 10 years ago and was immediately hooked, with this song being a favorite of mine. I only understand a word here and there, as my knowledge of the French language is limited to one year of classes many years ago. But good music transcends language. When I researched the group and discovered their commitment to preserving their cultural heritage through their music, I liked them even more. I was so heartbroken to learn of Pastelle's passing. Her legacy lives on forever through these wonderful songs. It is obvious from the videos how much you enjoyed making music together, and my thoughts remain with Emmanuelle, Pascal, and your families. Thank you all for your beautiful music, it is a gift both for those familiar with traditional Acadian songs, and for those like me who became interested in learning about the culture thanks to your music.
