This was lovely. It's a joy getting to meet Koneru, too, whom we've seen in the women's elite for ages but only as pictures and names. She always looks so stern and intense in pictures of her playing, and is such a beast at the board, that I was a little surprised she seemed so warm and relaxed here. It's great hearing from the rest of you, too. We miss Vidit, ofc. He'll be at the next dinner tho, I'm sure. Everything's already been said about Vishy so nothing more to add here :) The world roots for you, India! You're leading the next generation more than every other country, and we're here for it. Gukesh is even answering questions with folded hands. This isn't any tensed situation but it's a brain intensive people's dinner 🎉 It's great to see them share their thoughts.
