My memding pile is out of control. Mostly, I need to mend some pants. So I’m going to try my hand at boro patchwork. A traditional Japanese practice of mending clothes.

It's not just your husband's jeans. I also wear these Signature by Levi's jeans and mine develop holes at the same top inside corners of the back pockets. I put the blame on the low quality of material these jeans are made with. My Wrangler jeans don't have this problem. Also, thanks for the tutorial videos. They are very helpful in extending the life of my clothing.

I am mending jeans today also 😊 Just wanted to mentioned that I will usually make the patch for that pocket area to extend up to the yoke seam and over to the center seam and sew through them to anchor and secure the patch. It also helps reduce the pull and stress on that pocket corner. I usually am doing this on the machine to get through all the layers.

Very nicely done. You don’t need to mark your straight lines because your stitching is so evenly done. Mine does not look that good when I do mark my lines. Great job & entertaining.

I found them on clearance at my local fabric store ages ago. But recently I lost one and was able to find them on Amazon. They are so great for reducing finger fatigue!
