I've been following your workouts for over 4 years. Lots of improvement on my end and I'm happy to see this type of self reflection from you as a coach.

Love the content as always. Just some feedback on the audio, get a pop filter on your mic or use a de-esser to remove those plosives. The pop is very glaring whenever you say ex. ”Players”

Hey! Really nice video. But please make them a bit more structured. You always say 1. 2. 3. For example shooting, where you say 1. Form 2. Getting of the ground with power 3. Footwork. And minutes later you say: Number 2 is Reps. Now i am just confused about all the numbers and cant learn anything.

So the first Thing is Shooting, the third is ballhandling. What is the second one?

Here’s what he’s saying structured. Hope it helps! 3 Most Important Offensive Basketball Skills 1. Shooting 2. Decision Making/IQ 3. Ball Handling --------------------- (1) SHOOTING A. Form (Hand-placement, energy transfer, footwork) B. Reps (game-relevant shots) C. Challenge (imperfect passes, rushed shots, off balance) (2) DECISION MAKING A. Play More (real-game situations) B. Play Better Competition C. Learn to Compete/Play Hard (3) BASKETBALL HANDLING A. Ball Control (maintain control at high speeds B. Feet Control/Footwork (start and stops) C. Speed Variability (play at different speeds) D. Creativity (react to defenders)

I’m working on specializing in shooting/ball handling, should I still work on finishing with a focus on shooting/ball handling, or just completely work on shooting/ball handling?
@MrBuzzy-rj2yi
@MrBuzzy-rj2yi 2 ай бұрын
I think you should definitely work on finishing because once you become a great shooter, defenders are gonna start playing you closer so you’ll eventually have to get good at driving and finishing too to cover all your bases

man… u js spoke to me. i used to struggle with thinking that not losing the ball or not making any mistakes meant ur getting better, and it makes sense in ur head too. if i dont make any mistakes in practice, it shouldn’t happen when gametime comes around. i now view losing the ball, airballing a shot, or anything like that as growth. anyways, thanks for this absolute gem man. 🙏

Sir I want to do your training program but I don’t have the money. I know there’s no reason to help me as I can’t help you but to become an elite ball handler and shooter, do specific workouts matter or will anything that challenges you help? Also I made a workout plan but I don’t know if the workouts have real credibility. What workouts from your channel would you recommend?
@VisionDrivenBasketball
@VisionDrivenBasketball 3 ай бұрын
Some workouts are definitely better than others, but in general the most important things are that your workouts challenge you and that you’re consistent. If you keep those two things in mind, you’ll get better regardless of the specific workout. In terms of workouts on my channel, I’ve got a ton! Check my playlists and you’ll see scoring workouts, shooting workouts, and ball handling workouts, then find some you like and use those! You’ll get better!!
