I rate this event 3/5 stars. You need an effect light that pops. Something that says I'm Elite Events and this is the reason why.

I don't do the lights that produce dots anymore. Photographers HATE them and I actually gat a decent amount of my higher end clients from referrals from photographers, so I stick with movers and washes.

Thanks for sharing as always. How do you like the new hex washes? Look super bright. Got a big outdoor Halloween gig coming up. Was thinking of getting them to use the UV for effect. Also just looking at LED UV / Black lights on Amazon. Thoughts. thx

For the back of the photo booth they sell these lit up signs for the back of your laptop you could probably order one saying whatever you want and it lights up so people could see it

Great video!!! I have a pair of k12.2s and a ks118……I don’t have a big vehicle so I can’t carry the sub with everything else when doing weddings…..how many people do you feel it would be “ necessary” to pull out the 12in subs? I’m thinking of doing that instead of a column array because like you I have the wash fx and I feel like I’ve spent too much money on this setup to just “replace” it with a column array that wouldn’t even sound as good as a more “typical” setup

I would honestly feel comfortable with DJing upwards of 250 to 300 people with the ks112. I have heard a lot of 12-inch Subs in my lifetime, these are the only ones that sound like they are 18 inch subs. They don't hit those insane lows like an 18-inch wheel, but they're Punchy like an 18 inch sub is.

Yeah that’s what I think I’ll do I bought the wash fx specifically to go on top of my k12s so I would rather just add to the system because if I got some column arrays I would also need to get a different set of lights so just a bunch of unnecessary money spent to me…..do you always need to power off of different outlets when using that system?

Probably, but I'm not a huge fan of dressing the traditional style of speakers. Works perfect for column arrays though.
