Simple Pages is by far one of their most underrated songs. R.I.P., Mikey.

possibly the best version of WEEZER, especially live

couldn't agree more, this is peak weezer for me, still a great band and i love their new stuff but this was as good as it gets for a rock and roll band

They were very good friends. Things did not end so well between them, although they did reunite before he died

Those drums + bass are so tight they steal the show from the guitars, especially on Photograph and Zep Jamb

Never heard of “not in love” anyone know the history of this song? Also the last song i’ve only heard as a demo once but it never released. Very cool show but very odd to play two unreleased songs

So strange...While I love Scott, for being the most tenured bass player for the band, for whatever reason, he's never felt like Weezer to me like Matt and Mikey have.
@Pissicist23944 жыл бұрын
I thinks it's because of both Matt and Mikey's energy performing live
@Awesomeness46273 жыл бұрын
I think its because weezer was more relevant and I don't know how to put this, but felt more weezer back then
@SoniKast2 жыл бұрын
It's because: - Matt was the wild funny guy of the band (look at him on Letterman '95 and like any sort of material from that era) - Mikey was the chill funny guy of the band (legit just watch that one interview with him and Pat it's hilarious) Scott is kinda just the cool chill guy of the band For Matt and Mikey they kinda have the energy of being "the only guys who aren't nerds in the band" but Scott looks like he's far too cool for ANYONE here

Scott is the only Marine in weezer (I’m pretty sure)

incredible. even with the poorly synched audio, this video still captures the transcendence of weezer's live shows and immaculate displays of timeless song writing

Super bass tone from Mikey. Much prefer his simpler bassline on Burnst Jamb to Shriner's reworked one.

Is 'Not in Love' an original? It's much more balls-out hard rock than Weezer's usual fare (though they were entering the Maladroit era, which could arguably be classified as the heaviest). But I dig it.
@UndertaleFan-cx2mc Жыл бұрын
It's also called Zep Song, which may be a hint at inspiration from Led Zeppelin, but since I haven't heard enough Led Zeppelin I wouldn't know if it's their music style or not

It’s incredibly interesting to hear what Mikey’s take on the baseline for Burndt Jamb should be. I personally prefer Scott’s, but I wonder what some of the more iconic Weezer baselines would’ve been like with Mikey.
