Visions of Mana - Black Rabite Secret Boss Fight (Hardest Boss in the Game)

This cheating dirt bag of a rabbit is beaten now. Annoying boss since it negates and is immune to all the elements so only physical damage works. Had to stack crit rate and damge for morley as well as get the Dark Shield and Dark Barrier abilities. It is a must as it negates most of the boss attacks and allows you some freedom to spam moves. Julei with Light fusion is a must as he is the best healer and support in the game. Other than that it's a battle of attrition. Full game video is rendering finally. I just did it today on hard mode with Water Palamena, Fire Careena and Light Julei and boy it was painful, even tough I was level 99. This boss totally spits on Palamena's face as it takes almost nothing from every spells she has other than Doppelganger and Ancient Curse, which both are costy and slow to cast. I found that the hard way. I quickly ran out of MP and had no nuts left. Hopefully Julei never ran out of MP and was able to do the healing constantly. I had to switch to Careena and spam AC attacks as soon as I got them because Palamena was a dead weight at that point. And this happned when he was at 1/4 HP left and spawned two copies of itself. Morley would have been a better pic for this fight than Palamena.

First boss in the entire game to actually take two deaths out of me in hard mode. I’m not unfamiliar with the weakling monster having an OP dark version but this was ridiculously and I loved every second of it. Still, once I tried the dark shield + (hadn’t used a shield spell in the entire game before) I won. Once you take the dark damage away from him, he becomes manageable despite still being hard as all hell.

it is not my business, but how this can be loved and enjoyable to play... 20+ mins jumping around... what a crap. I would never ever buy any JRPG game in my life, hate this shiRt a lot.

@@виталийвольф-у4т It's because the player is not using a proper build for damage. I posted a video as well in hard difficulty on my channel and it only takes five minutes with two of them being used to showcase the build.

@@alexisguillen8400 Be carefull at your level : if you have like 5 more levels than the boss, the fight become ridiculously more easier. Here, he was only lvl 83 so he fought the boss at his full power. But this is true there are some tips and tricks to beat it more easily.

the description mentioned a non controlled character will survive a fatal blow and be reduced to 1 hp.

Correct but the only way to Die even WITH the survive at 1 HP skill is if the party members you control STILL DIE and In Visions of Mana on Expert/No Future mode they will IN 1 HIT even at lv 99 so the skill is still worthless.
