+Casca Longinus yes you are correct on the origin of the Flying Millyard engine's cylinders. However, it was built by Alan Millyard, who has also built a viper v10 bike, among other cool things. Just search the "flying Millyard" on YT. The engine in the next two clips after the bike is the one visioracer got his information for though so it's just a matter of the wrong clip slipping in. The difference between the engines is quickly apparent if you look at the supercharger on the engine in the second and third clips.

+VisioRacer Goddammit, man! You've had an inline 8 in EVERY ONE of these videos. YES, we know about inline 8s!!!!! Move on... As for the Tatra V8, Moto Guzzi made a 500cc V8 MOTORCYCLE. That's way more impressive than a 2.5 V8...

The reason inline-8s didn't catch on was because the crankshaft needed to be very tough to withstand torque along such a length, whereas a V8 it didn't need to be since it was much shorter.

@Juanknes9 жыл бұрын
Not in a race car. Most race car have less than 1000 HP, only cars used for 1/4 mile or stupid drifting have more HP, because they don't need to last a complete race without blowing up.

+Module79L Awesome machines. Currently hunting for one. If you still ride and love those old 2-strokes, grab an RZ350. Easier to work on. Most Banshee motor upgrades are bolt-on. Significantly lighter and also a wicked ride. Oh, and not crazy $$$ (Yea, I own one, and love it)
@Module79L8 жыл бұрын
JB Offroad, that was when I was younger and 2-strokes were abundant. : ) Two of my biker friends, one had a TZR 250 and the other one had its super-motard version, the TDR 250. I liked the TZR better because it was nimbler and more powerful but no matter how many times I rode any of them I couldn't be prepared for the 500. : ) I rode a RD 350 LC once but it was more of a sports tourer, not a pure sportbike like the TZR or the RD 500 LC.
@JFinne98 жыл бұрын
Module79L The RD350LC is in-between the RD and RZ, power and performance wise. Another on my list, but not yet. The TZR is a very nice bike, though I hear constantly that they are rather high maintenance, picky about tuning etc....(Not that I wouldn't love one) I'd instantly jump on a TDR though. Different, but just so cool. And rare.... Yea, I'm addicted to 2Ts :D
