Agreed, she is 100% right. Advice she’s giving is solid. Don’t listen to other people who try to scare you into clicking, most of the time they don’t know what they’re talking about. Sometimes the big drops are done by institutional investors to create buying opportunities for themselves. (I have 15 years experience in the market and 2 finance degrees.)

Big investors borrowed the Yen (Japanese currency) due to cheap interest rates & then invested that borrowed money into stocks ....interest rates have been very cheap in Japan for a long time & no one expected the interest rates to go up..which they did & caught people out who had to sell thier stocks because if the higher interest rate.

Order of Investments should always be... 1) Cover all regular weekly/monthly expenses, 2) Pay off all high interest credit cards, 3) set aside a 6 month emergency fund preferably in Cash but metals, crypto, and short term bonds or money market accounts are not horrible, then 4) invest in long term markets, anything over 3-5 years. The problem is people jump straight to 4 and gamble the rent money. We saw it during covid, and we see it today.
