Something has to happen. You have Wall Street investors just buying up houses and trying to rent or sell them for more then the average person can afford. My partner and I live in the PNW and even tho together we make more than the median income the only thing we would be able to afford would be a small 2 bed 1 bath that's less than 700 square feet with no garage in a crappy part of town. I'll take my apt, thanks. I know eventually things will change and level out. With taxes and everything that goes into the cost of a mortgage, it won't matter if the people getting loans are more responsible. Responsibility can only go so far when you're trying to spread your income farther then it can go.

I was in a store in Los Angeles and was surprised to find the machine asked me if I wanted to pay in U.S. or Canadian funds. I foolishly chose my home currency. Their "exchange rate" was ridiculously high. Never do it!

Interpreting things as you need (or please) doesen't make them true! Man pay more ensurance money because they are more agressive than women. NOT BECAUSE THE ARE WORST DRIVERS THAN WOMEN! If women are better drivers than man, WHY THERE ARE ZERO WOMEN DRIVERS IN FORMULA 1 ???? You are talking out of your wrong hole. You are a woman, learn your place.

The best solution is to give certain family members some of the winning so this will avoid everyone calling you. Now that you gave some winning money to the family members that you chose so they can receive all of phone calls by forwarding the calls to the family members to keep them up with no sleep. While you relax for a change. Remember to tell only your immediate family where you are at all time. Everyone will have new phone numbers to keep close in contact with each other only or the numbers will be change again if giving out. 😊 people do change when money is involved.

Just get a card with 0% foreign transaction fee.
@jordandufault70387 сағат бұрын
You’re not wrong, but it’s not the full story. The card company may also be ripping you off. I’m not American, but I have experience with cards issued in Canada, France, and Switzerland for various card networks and I find most credit card companies charge a 2-3% commission on an already inflated exchange rate. With some cards this works out to as much as 5.5%, which probably isn’t worth it even on premium points cards. If I’m buying in a currency I do not hold, I generally just pay with a Wise debit card and I pay ~0.5% in commission.
@Renpenz298 сағат бұрын
Hmmm!!! I found the opposite with my travel card. The exchange rate is always higher if I don't let them take the exact amount in u.s. at the time of the transaction.

It's been like this. Every company started gouging when actual shortages started during the pandemic. They realized people had no choice but to pay up, and they kept at the foolishness for almost 4 years. You can't blame higher wages and inflation when profits are public record. If they are making all-time profits, it means they have covered their expenses and are making more on top of that. I wish Americans acknoweledged this fact.

They also do that at Sephora, but you don’t need your receipt as long as you have the app improved to them that you’ve bought in the product

Hi, so I have a question, I am trying to improve my Credit Utilization Rate, if the due date is on a certain date of the month and there is normally a 25 to 30 day window between the due date and close date which is then in the month prior, what is to stop the creditor from thinking that you are paying your payment by or before the due date of hat prior month instead of making a payment just before the statement close date?

Convert currency in your home country before traveling -- much easier -- always use a Visa card -- most countries do not take American Express.

He is. He handled it wrong, and he knew what their finances were. At this point, he should get a 2nd job to cover the 2nd child. Receding the offer at this point would create feelings of resentment in the 11 years old. I personally wouldn't marry a man with more children than I, for this exact reason.

I worked for a credit card company and as far as I remember, they only charge like 0.25% over forex. That's a better exchange rate than anywhere else

It’s not smart As we see with many celebrities its easy to have the carpet pulled out from under you and your brand to go bust in a short time sure diversification is crucial but when things go belly up you likely have a ton of bills and a ton of legal fees so I’d rather have some assets out right!

Worst advice ever for Australian. I work for a bank and I can attest that when you use local currency, bank will charge you on the VISA or Mastercard interchange fee plus merchant transaction fee. And you are then charged additional fee from the local conversion. If you just use your credit card, it will just be the transaction fee in foreign currency.

But I don’t want to spend so much money on it now, I have been *yutulu* buying the bag I want, it is as good as LV and is one of my favorite things. Durability
