I have been living in Friday Harbor, since May of 1998. It's sometimes nice to go off island on the ferry and spend the day on the mainland.

Thanks for the views of the ferry and Friday Harbor. I did this trip several years ago and want to go again. I agree-the ferry ride itself is worth the trip, but Friday Harbor is a lovely destination.

Hi! Yes, you can walk on several of the ferries, but not all towns are walkable from the ferry terminal, so be sure to check that out! You can bring, bikes, kayaks, cars, so fun! Beautiful! What a great vlog! This reminded me of the island I used to live on - you could only come and go by seaplane or ferry. Miss that pace of life sometimes. I am all about those crab tots! haha I would probably prefer them to potato too. Loved all the little shops!

@@TilFurtherNotice No visible smoke. But 3 days ago we had one of the brightest red sunsets I've ever seen. So I think some of the smoke Eureka was getting had drifted out to sea. It was blowing that direction. Reminded me of the sunsets from 2017 when part of Yellowstone was burning all summer. I didn't get a picture, sorry.

Thank you for that Lynn! Scott’s Camera is Nikon d750 and he used a variety of lenses. 85mm f1.4, 24-70f2.8, 70-210 and that’s most of what he used, he unloaded some of the others when we made this move 😳
