What a stunningly beautiful location. A perfect spot for our ancestors to live in and comes with 'indoor' plumbing, too! I wouldn't mind living in a cave like this one. Thank you for sharing. This is the main reason I would want to travel to Bulgaria.

There's another cave not too far from there that gets very few visitors due to it being harder to find and less publicised, it's called Garvanitsa Cave near Gorsko Slivovo...and there's an interesting way to access the floor of the cave ! Well worth a visit.

It's worth pointing out the filming of Exp 2 had an adverse effect on the bat population and should not have been allowed. The "cave" swifts are Alpine Swifts, migratory birds. It's a lovely place to visit and a nice vid.

Thanks for the feedback.. Yes, I read that Exp.2 made a mess of things and the Bulgarian authority told them to leave politely....
