Hi Martin, pond and koi looking great mate. I've noticed the white on some of my koi this year is not as white as usual. Great walk around Howie's koi, he's got some nice looking koi there. Thanks mate, and you take care, Terry.

Cheers terry mate , yes it’s strange one and I can’t put my finger in why apart from the growth food , left you a comment on your last video mate under Skeggy s comment , you do have the right dose for verkon .👍🏼👍🏼oh it’s a beautiful spot and some really nice koi shame there were not a few bigger ones available 😎😎👍👍

Great Video Martin. I recently changed my Koi food to Tetra Pond sticks. I was using Orca Koi food but it was coloring my water. So I switched to the Pond sticks the Koi have gone ape over it and actually get excited at feeding times and the water clarity has improved so much to the point I am no longer running the UV (Well we are in winter right now) I made a promise never to get another Black colored Koi.. Unless you have a Blue pond liner... You cannot see them and enjoy them.
@K.W.P.R2 жыл бұрын
Never heard of orca food , I think next year for me I may bite the bullet and go Sakai , but speaking to a few others that are piling the growth food in , it seems they all add a little colour but only the growth , thanks buddy stay safe mate

Martin, tie rope around the wing nut of the bung and other end of the rope to something that is fixed so you do not lose the bung down down the line. There should be no pressure in the pipe unless you take water out of one side.
@K.W.P.R2 жыл бұрын
Great minds Daniel , exactly what I was thinking there will be pressure from the pond side as I’m removing the nexus and cutting out the leaky slide valve so it will be empty ish filter side 👍👍😎😎

My showa are looking excellent. Your kohaku for the grow and show is looking great!!! In a couple years is going to be a nice thick koi with a strong Hi.. Hope you and your family are doing well my friend. Still watching

Strange that Martin, British Gas came out to check ours and said the same. Pond & Koi looking great buddy. Lovely Koi ponds Howie has & grounds, amazing. What would you do with all that garden ? lol. I been using Coppens for year mate. What's the scraping noise on your video's every 20 or so seconds ( 02:02 ), sounds like a builder shovelling up cement off a sheet of plywood? Have a great weekend Popeye lol, take care mate. 👍
@K.W.P.R2 жыл бұрын
Hi stef buddy the sound is my pressure washer sat idol but water and power still on 😂, how very interesting British Gas done the same to you , I wonder how many others are having perfectly serviceable boilers being damaged so you have to buy a new one before the government ban comes in hmmmm 👍👍😎😎
@Simonsimps2 жыл бұрын
You leave the bung in and undo the small screw cap. That lets the water through and pressurizes your pipework, when full (don't take long) unscrew the the main bung and it won't get pulled through.
@K.W.P.R2 жыл бұрын
Ahh cheers Simon , so it will hold ok if I empty the filter side of the pipe and have the pressure of the pond side on it while I’m working ??
@Simonsimps2 жыл бұрын
@@K.W.P.R mine did, just make sure it's in the pipe square and done up as tight as you can whilst being under water lol. When you have finished your new pipe work the other side don't undo the wing nut, undo the screw cap and that will let water through whilst the bung is still in place. When the other side is full you can undo the wing nut and remove the bung without it being pulled down the 4 inch pipe. You could also check for leaks before actually removing the bung too like I did.

Such a stinger with the boiler!! Always get something like this happening at the worst of times, we had our whole system get air locked by a water softner repair and it was in December, no heating for three days lol and fixed at our own cost 😠
@K.W.P.R2 жыл бұрын
Mate , you know it , what gets me it was working absolutely spot on before they done the service , hmmmm not that I’m a suspicious person but no new boilers in 4 years time 🤔🤔🤔🤔

You and me both Andy I’m fuming and stressed about paying for the bloody new one , in my mind they broke it they pay for it simples , bet that don’t happen 😤it was very interesting listening to Matt learnt a lot off camera to mate , your going to have to come down my way before the season is over mate , then take Bizley on to the beach after 👍👍😎😎😎

Sorry to hear about the boiler, but I’ve heard of similar things happen to far too many people when British Gas have visited! I’d never let them anywhere near mine! Find yourself a good local plumber/heating engineer!
@tonyfuller30102 жыл бұрын
Get a second opinion on the boiler Martyn just because it’s British Gas doesn’t mean they’re not above ripping you off. Call me a cynic.
@K.W.P.R2 жыл бұрын
I did Tony and the part that had gone was damaged , but my mate said it could of been done by the engineer, and he was right in saying the parts are no longer available , so new boiler is in , but I have complained and got another £200 knocked off
