Thanks for such a great video and review of Windsor. I stayed overnight on my last trip at Harde and Garter hotel. I was right across the street from the castle. I sat there all evening looking at street with people and castle. Also, the Horse and Groom pub is directly across the street from the castle when you exit, it's great. Loved the lamb shank with mashed potatoes. Thanks again.

I once saw Windsor Castle from above in a plane; the sky was really clear which was amazing :) I'd love to go there one day!

I love these videos, really make me miss home though which I'm not sure is a good thing lol. I love America but there's something extra special about life in the UK.

Joey Atwaini It's worth every penny to go to the UK, especially England. Everything over there is just as awesome as it looks in photos and videos.

I lived in Windsor for 18 years and I had no clue about the gin tasting at the Queen Charlotte! I moved away from Windsor 3 years ago and will be returning with an international friend who has never seen the UK outside of London. I will definitely be taking him for that experience, thank you for the informative video!

Mia Riddle thank you for watching! I hope you and your friend enjoy your trip. A word of advice- I wouldn't plan anything big after the gin tasting. My husband and I did it before a wedding. It was a really rough morning the next day ;-). Best to also call them in advance to see the times they offer it too!

Great video. I wish I'd seen this before I'd left for the UK on a visit a while back.

You missed Frogmore where Queen Victoria is buried. A walk along the long walk to the Copper Horse, seeing the deer in the Great Park. Runnymeade to see where the Magna Carta was signed. Also pop over to Clewer to see one of the oldest churches in England.

Hi Sunny, You mentioned Royal Ascot, in passing, near the end, but not Royal Windsor's own Racecourse! Which is right on the river. Known for it's Evening Races, especially. You can get a river taxi from and to the town centre, if you wish (and there's a bar on board!), as well as the usual taxi or bus from the station. Or you can walk it in 40 minutes, but why bother!? In those heels???

By the way Sunny you need to do a video on the city of Bath in Somerset if you haven't already. Spectacular place. Also the Cotswolds will enchant you!

Thanks for the informative video. I do want to make one small correction, though. It's St. George's Chapel, not St. George's Cathedral. A cathedral is the seat of a bishop. St. George's belongs to the Sovereign and doesn't answer to any bishop, so it is officially known as a Royal Peculiar.

Steve Gibbon Isn't it the other way around? Wasn't Windsor built hundreds of years ago and then there was the invention of modern airplanes? Just saying.
