We have always enjoyed our trips on the Trams even the older ones, we always buy a 7 day ticket on our very first evening and we use it every single day, its great to be able to hop on and off wherever and whenever you feel like it so sometimes after a lovely walk along the prom and piers our legs tell us we need to get the tram back to our hotel!! Its a great way to get to cleveleys and also perfect for Fleetwood Market both a must do (often more than once) on all of our visits. We also get it up to Starr Gate and then pop across the road for the bus to Lytham, so we are big fans of the Tram and think its one of Blackpools Treasures along with the Tower, Piers and People....

Yes, to look at they are much more attractive... but the new ones are better to ride on. In my opinion!

@@visitfyldecoast I prefer the old trams because of the simple seating and window arrangement giving a better view out and the fact that they had a top deck.

Hi Jane when we go up town we get the tram one day we got tram from Waterloo Rd to Fleetwood return so better than the bus Rog will not take car up town as he drives lorry all wk sue Barnsley lass xxx ❤️ 🤣

Thanks for highlighting the wheelchair facilities, Jane. We've the same type of tram through part of Edinburgh (airport to town covering 3 rail stations), if anyone's considering a visit.
