I'm glad you got to check out both sides of Istanbul! I usually don't see much of the Asian side, so this was quite awesome! I feel that checking out the areas where most tourists tend to not go to will bring out the true local experience! I saw your Instagram stories for when you were in Istanbul, and everything looked great. I'm glad you had a great time there!

This was so much fun to watch because I was in Istanbul just a few weeks ago and this definitely brought back some lovely memories like the ferry to kadikoy, the kebabs and just the general vibe of the city. Thanks Lexie ☺️

Great vid. If you get the chance take a ferry up the straight at sunset. It is amazing to see the European side at sunset. On the way back, see the bridges, palaces, and town lit up at night. Hopefully, you got to hang out at Moda Sahil Parkı after sunset. It’s really cool to see all the people down there later.

Had to look up on Google maps that baklava shop, coz I wasn't sure if that was the one that I've been too. And in yes! I've been there, and I wish I could get back. Istanbul is amazing!! One of my top 3 cities I've ever been to.

Few points from local citizen: 1) Konstantiniyye (Constantinopole) was the Sultanahmet District. Istanbul was developed after Ottoman times and mostly in last 200 years. 2) The original place was Karaköy Güllüoğlu in Karaköy where they don’t have any other branch (güllüoğlu is their family surname so branches you’ll see has different first names as they are brothers in competition) 3) asian side is less attractive to tourists because most of historic places are in europaian side, but the district of Kadıköy/moda is the favorite place for teens(for many cafes) and elders(to stay). 4) baklava is actually famous in Gaziantep but since many tourist doesnt go there more than they do in Istanbul, and since we love it, you’ll see many in here, but at its best in Gaziantep(best food&history city in Turkey imo)

@Venezuela-f8b4 жыл бұрын
She has a video about that
@victoriac8474 жыл бұрын
I'm assuming all the activities she does and hotels she says at give her discounted or even free service for shouting out their business. She's also just very savvy in general with cheap flights and such and the KZbin paycheck I can imagine helps.
@claudiaaa42684 жыл бұрын
The bigger question is arent we in a pendemic? Thats germs traveling everywhere. There are some who take traveling responsibly but there are others who take this as a green light to travel and be irresponsible, coming back to family and infecting.. this coming from an essential worker by the way. Its not been easy. Yeah..
