No need to apologize or altering your plans and take care of yourself, it's actually nice to get a non Tokyo walkalong. I was a bit surprised how many buildings were abandoned, despite the amount of traffic/pedestrians.

Thank you so much for the kind words, Simon. Yeah! It's weird to see so many unoccupied or purely abandoned places sprinkled in the middle of a pretty active residential area. Thanks again for watching!

Anxiety SUCKS! I learned one way that sometimes works.. to literally describe what you are feeling either verbally or just in your head. Going thru the symptoms/effects one at a time can help one get thru the more painful parts sometimes. I did intend to watch during the premier but completely forgot due to other things so I leaves the comment here.

Yeah! It's a really good method to ground yourself during high anxiety or full-blown attacks. I try to distract myself with physical things to focus on, like fidgeting with a ballpoint pen or rotating a coin or something in my fingertips. The tactile feeling of moving it around and stuff distracts me and tends to help a lot. It's totally fine if you missed the premiere. The video will always be up for you to enjoy! hehehe Thanks for watching and leaving a comment!

Thanks so much! This video was filmed with a DJI Pocket 2, so it's got a built-in gimbal system. For my live streams, I was using a DJI Smooth 4, but now I bought a new iPhone and it's too heavy for that. So I upgraded to the DJI OM 5, which can handle the heavy iPhone. hehehe Thank you for watching!

Your walking tour videos are awesome! Were you born in the USA or where did you learn your perfect English?
@CoryMay812 жыл бұрын
Thank you Harrison! I'm an American, but I was born & raised in Japan. My dad was in the US Navy here so I grew up on American Navy bases. My family, school, friends, etc. all spoke English so it's my 1st language and native tongue. hehehe Thanks for watching and commenting!

I enjoyed your video. I'm sorry you have to deal with anxiety. My daughter has anxiety that comes and goes, and she occasionally gets panic attacks. She recently started taking something called Calm and it has been working for her. I don't know if you can find it there in Japan.
@CoryMay812 жыл бұрын
Thanks. Yeah, anxiety is so crippling. I hate it so much and can't wait to get proper help. Oh, I hope your daughter gets through her anxiety as well. I hope she knows that she is not alone in her suffering. I looked into that Calm you mentioned and it seems like a magnesium supplement, which does help with anxiety in some cases. I take magnesium daily to try and help my situation. But I'm at the point I need beta-blockers or something stronger than just magnesium. Thanks again for watching the video and leaving a comment!

@CoryMay812 жыл бұрын
The small boxy cars are easy to drive and navigate narrow Japanese streets. They're also cheaper. But I don't know the specific reason behind why they are square instead of rounded. Japanese have a high respect for other people's property so people aren't destroying things or painting graffiti on abandoned shutters. Graffiti does exist, though, especially in city areas. If you visit Shibuya, Harajuku, etc. you will find tons of graffiti. I'm sorry you also suffer from anxiety. Thank you for watching my videos and leaving a comment!
