Have a friend who is a Ukrainian refugee in the Flemish speaking part of Belgium. Arrived via Poland with her two mothers and two young teenage children plus a dog and a cat. Husband fighting back home. She works for a charity helping refugees by translating Ukrainian and Russian to English as not yet fluent in Flemish to sort out all the paperwork for them. Also works in the canteen that helps feed new arrivals and those not yet placed in more permanent accommodation. She went back to her home once to see her husband and was devastated to see the remains of her apartment block although the centre of the Capital City was almost undamaged then.
