I was homeless for 8 years in the desert of California in San Bern...Its actually rare to see this. Coming from the streets, I really recommend everyone to have an open mind with homeless people, take a little free time on a day off and get to know at least 1 person a week if you are selfless enough to do it, and find out their story. Its not hard to just say hello and how the day was. I LOVED when people would actually acknowledge that I was a human being. I had someone actually help me get an ID and my social Security card since those were what was stopping me from getting any work. Now I am in another state, with 2 jobs, and a place I rent. working my way up. :)

Wow, Brian…yes! I was just talking to a young man tonight about this.He shared he was having to live the homeless life style because when he broke up with girlfriend, came to Fl., car was stolen which had all his personal items in it. We talked about an hour, or longer. I could tell he just wanted to be heard and we had a very open conversation about getting lost and finding your way through these tough times. I hope to help him with his ID and documents if not done by the time we cross paths again. I wasn’t in the position tonight, but he was very kind, respectful, thankful and said he was appreciative for just talking to him. I offered coffee talk soon, my treat, and share a story about a former homeless woman…. If we would all just stop passing by, say hello or have a chat, this would help minimize a lot of the pain out there. We need connection!🤗🙏

@@gloriabaez-Barajas yeah there were alot before, and when the counties started doing the homeless shuffle in 2019 alot more landed in San Bern sadly. Far from any possible family and in one of the worst "anti-homeless" counties in California. The county has alot of empty buildings that could be converted into resource centers and shelters to start the conversion from homelessness back into stable society. San Bern will buy those buildings out and condemn them instead, and still complain about the homeless. Its very sad, but i guess they gotta get their easy money somehow.

@@goodnessinpeople Thank you for all that you do.. There is an elderly homeless woman who normally is outside our local grocery store. Any time I see her, I'll come out of the grocery store with a bag of food for her. I hadn't thought to buy her sanitary wipes or other hygiene products. Thanks for showing those types of products and making me realize that I now have more items that I can help her out with.

I saw the elderly homeless lady again just yesterday. I grabbed a bag of a few groceries for her, and this time included some wipes. She really appreciated it. It was extremely cold, and I asked about how she was keeping. She was working with a social agency to get into a motel room, but some sort of snag came up, but she is hoping for something within the next week.. She said that she was really cold, and was very sore. It was very visible that she was in a frigid state. Nobody was helping her out, maybe due to the extreme cold. I felt so badly for her - a woman in her 60's should not have to be outside in the cold when there is an extreme cold alert in the area. She said that even if she could manage to get $20 in change from people, she'd have enough to be able to go back to her tent where she and her sister (also homeless) have a propane heater to keep them warm. I gave her $20, and the tears started rolling down her cheeks. The bag of groceries and $20 made a world of difference in her life. The videos from Bi Phakati and "Goodness in people" have really made me a better person in how I treat the homeless.

What I think most people who have never been dispossessed don’t realize is that making the first step almost always requires the intervention of others. They take their families, friends, and even their jobs for granted. Lose those and you’re drifting on an open sea in a dinghy. Say a prayer of thanks tonight if you’ve never been here - then say another that you never do.

My husband transported people to rehab, and I helped people by getting their social security cards, and getting them signed up for medicaid. I loved doing it. They were so appreciative. They just needed a way to get back on their feet. I would give them rides to their jobs, etc. I hope to get back to helping others like this. It blesses them and me! I've met so many wonderful people. Don't be afraid to approach people to see if they need help. Most of the time the honest people are afraid to approach YOU for help. There is a respect shown, not only by you and your interactions with these folks, but it's reciprocated by them. They are not greedy. Not trying to take everything you have. Just what they need. And although most of these items can be found at a dollar store, it still helps them deal with day to day issues. They literally have nothing, and appreciate everything. Well done sir...

I am news just last page news Worthy: lol (edit) I'd I was not being Protected by GOD understand that all Humanity have an Authority (for Life) than who on earth thinks the elite are not hiding a secret and that they common general public want their children to apply doe Position in the Government to protect what GOD created on the earth more Precious than us! Who is in charge angels eating humans or this Verbiage of the Angels that the sorority and fraternities using it against the public or against their own families to create a game of play of pain and suffering to exploit that they are Elites and have te right to kill people while they r driving or flying or living or walking or hiking or swimming or sleeping for fun using the angels Verbiage for fun to kill us! 35 years these Goodrich knew I could not say anything cause I called them out when I was under there Care! "Are you trying to hypnotize me! " I'm sock to even know they are still Free they are alive! But not for long this is an injustice for all Humanity to do this to me or anyone in the General public or for their elite they are the example against me! 3016886311 duck u for not listening to me NSA! Your lost to God Goodrich and all of those involved in this angel Verbiage against my family! who could be a friend to me but a select few! Maybe maybe NOT! The elite are all going to the Metaphysical Earth to lick angels buttholes for ever I'd they don't stop killing the true authority of God within Humanity! God want everyone to know the angels don't embody people without Satans permission okay and stop killing one another their are big ugly thing to kill Later on this Earth! Everyone get to use their new weapons to keep us a live people on earth! The authority within you is to show the Image of GOD to show kindness , etc it your choice to embrace life with God so he can live within all of his authority to watch everyone getting along so we can prove that Satan yet hostel and chaos and determental humanity we stand firm on his authority to kill all things with kindness and humbleness to see the defency of life through understanding that even the authority is to be judged by Satan not the angels! As a whole authority of GOD we are kind? Wholesome loving and truth full we don't settle for less but embrace levels of encouragement of one another on earth! It belongs to all of us but something are the way of acceptance of Satan!¢^¥€^ππ=^€€| this Earth would be lost if GOD outside the universe and the one inside the universe were not at all please with the angels taking everything on earth to the Metaphysical Earth! So find everyone to be very fortunate that you get a choice Now angels enslavement or God enslavement! Help them all government all homeless!

I live in Phoenix Arizona, and I can tell you that when I was homeless it made my day to meet people like you :) you don't even know how hard it is surviving on the streets, especially during the summer,I was homeless for five years,it takes a toll on your body, mind and spirit:(sometimes we encountered really mean people who intentionally tried to hurt us! So having a sweetheart like you is such a blessing to people on the streets,I hated being called"The homeless" it just felt like we were just nothing! But your just a total blessing! *_John 3.16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”_* _Jesus Christ loves you. Only Jesus Christ saves. Repent and be saved. God bless you, and the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you and your family._ -

Rahaf people are basically good. More good people then bad. Our News media likes to promote negative things. Kindness is all around. I see it allot. Fogus on the good and help when and where you can. Americans generally give allot. I find allot of the times it is the poor who are most generous with everyday stuff. We have poor in this country too and it is always going to be. It is sad to see. I find most people are kind and help others. Just this week we had people stop to help a highway Patrol who was being beat by a man he stopped on highway in Tampa Florida area. Most churches have food pantries for people.
