Visiting an Old Cemetery

I visited an old cemetery in the area. It was interesting to note some of the dates on the graves. Most every one interred there had been born in the 1800s.

Always very interesting to read graves and wonder about the peoples' lives...most of us only see a couple, three generations on either side of our own. I was surprised to see those last few more modern graves when most others seemed to be from the 1800's. Great video Joe!🪱🪱🪱

Hi Joe!!! I always like visiting cemetarys. That was a old one. I saw one that the family lost 6 children...so...sad. Rest well all...

Knew an art history teacher who told our class she would have liked to have lived in the 1890's. I'm not so sure I would have; it would have been tough if you were poor. Lovely walk Mr. Joe. Thanks

Wow! I could never be that comfortable walking alone around there like you did. I'm shocked at how young they were, but life was harder and less preventative measures like immunizations and so forth. My brother-in-law sent me my family ancestry and it is absolutely amazing; I sat at the dining room table for hours reading about everyone. My middle name is Catherine so you may know I'm Yvonne Catherine (YC 🙂) Well I always felt I had more boys than just the 3 in this life. I also felt like Catherine was supposed to be my first name my whole life. I even told my mother that when I was young. When the ancestry arrived I started crying when I found a Catherine in the 1800's had 12 boys. When my family asked what was wrong I literally couldn't explain the loss I felt inside me. It sure does make you wonder. I'm born and raised as Catholic and they are not supposed to believe in reincarnation. Interesting video Joe and great share.😊❤💜💙

An interesting walk around the cemetery 🪦 There did seem to be a lot of young ones in there. Whenever I've gone around a cemetery, I've always been interested and wondered about the people and their lives. Thanks for sharing!
