Visiting Efteling! A Droomvlucht Come True!

I can barely describe how much I love this place! Around five years ago I went there on a date with an amazing girl who dared to enter into a relationship with me on the square in front of De Vliegende Hollander. For her next birthday I got us a subscription to the park. We went thirteen times that year. One year after our first date in de the park I brought my gf for a magical three day visit. Halfway through the weekend after watching the special Tiësto Aquanura show, I walked back to the hotel with my fiancée. Another year later we were back for our wedding weekend, the year after we celebrated our first anniversary bringing our own little princess to Sprookjesbos. Seeing other people enjoying their visits to De Efteling sparks a lot of joy for us and I will recommend anyone to go there themselves as the true magic ambiance and scale of the park are hard to capture in even the best video. I'm so glad you enjoyed your visit at our park, my coworkers and I always strive for a 9/10 experience at least! Tho I must say you really need two days to enjoy the park at it's most, I hope you get to return and if you do I highly recommend to eat at Raveleijn restaurant as it is it's own little experience complete with dinner show

It’s an amazing place! I loved the aesthetic and I’m a rollercoaster lover too, so I will definitely go again when the new place (Dance macabre) and the Python are open! 💛✨

Absolutely lovely video! I'm a huge Efteling fan and love seeing when people (mostly tourists) come visit the park. Sadly the Efteling is building a lot right now (which is great for the future though) it kinda sucks having those green screens everywhere. Glad you guys enjoyed the park though!

1:13 Here I need to mention the park is owned by Stichting Natuurpark Efteling - translated Foundation Naturepark Efteling. So that's why the nature is so important, which you immediately noticed. Good! Also, you forgot the coot. Hehe. One of the more iconic waterbirds around these shores. 4:06 So glad to see you visited Diorama. One of the more undiscovered beauties of the park. 9:33 Apt, you get the pun immediately if your first language is English, ey. As for the oliebol at the end, tradionally just a tablespoon - or two? - per kg of flower. Yeah, I make them myself.

I'd never thought of Holle Bolle Gijs as johnson, but now i cannot unsee it. It's quite insulting to Gijs though! (looks very sternly in your direction) Oliebollen(oil balls) normally should be vegan, it's the most basic recipe, but there are those that use butter or milk, heathens. If you only went for one day, i'd urge you to revisit, because you really need 2 days to take it all in. Although, if it was quiet & you've walked fast, you might have covered a bit of ground. Pity about all the construction. If Alex dislikes the sensation of Vogel Rok(vogel = bird) he might like to take those travellers pills, the ones so you don't get seasick. They really do help.

@@cakeonyourface Hopefully Danse Macabre will be open by then, or maybe not, because it'll be very busy! I don't know if you used the Efteling app, it's really helpful with wait times & which rides are closed etc. I haven't 'spoken' to Holle Bolle Gijs, but i cannot imagine him being angry or upset for long. Hungry, yes always, so do bring some offerings to him & the whole family next time.(there are about 9 or 11, i think) In the UK you have the hilarious gogglebox, which isn't a thing known to most Dutchies. This little clip is a Nigella christmas special on gogglebox uploaded by someone on youtube, with /bewildered/bemused/peeved commentary by Dutchies. Nigella manages to get names, ingredients & time wrong. The goggleboxers are mostly amused by her posh voice & the names, which are funny if you haven't grown up with them. "Balls, Mary." Nice vlog of Efteling. These 2 girls Momo o Brien I think inspire a lot of people to come here and go to Efteling, never seen two people so crazy about Efteling and fairytales. The castle at the entrance you are talking about is called The House of 5 Senses. The sort of doughnut you ate at the end is an oliebol translated oil ball. They say donuts were invented because a Dutch woman in the US didnt have the right ingredients to make oliebollen. Could be a true story or a fairytale fact is oliebollen en donuts have similaraties. Outside of themeparks, fairs and carnavals we only eat oliebollen on New Years eve. They said they will expand Efteling besides building the new haunted mansion. I believe the new haunted will cost around 25 million euro to built. Plans leaked and they say it will be sort of church benches you sit on floating around the haunted mansion. With 25 million euro's it must be one of the best haunted mansions in the world. Will you go back to Efteling if you can ?

We did! It was a little scary for us both 😂 we each went on it as single riders so no footage unfortunately. My favourite thrill ride was Joris and the Dragon 💕
