For another great and magical trip to The Netherlands, I recommend Toverland. Like Efteling, but smaller. Lot's to do and see for little Prim, but also some massive coasters. A brilliant woody and a great wingcoaster (simular to The Swarm at Thorpe). Highly recommended. About an hours drive from Efteling, great to combine in a trip, since it's a one day park.

Few tips. At the end of the fairytale forest there is a small swan ride but it had a fun darkride scene since it is still part of the forrest. There is a less known restaurant that only works on reservations that is behind the show. Really worth it. And the python is really worth riding when night falls. The turn after the lift hill gives in my opinion a better view at night then the pegoda.

@@disneyanddaysout Winter Efteling can be nice.. but it can be very cold with crappy weather and a lot of rides are closed.. With kids it's not the best in my opinion. Nothing beats spring and summer for the Efteling.

On the topic of saving money with food and drinks, the Efteling explicitly allow you to bring your own food and drinks into the park. They only ask that if it is busy in the park, that you don't consume your own food and bevarages on the terrasses belonging to the restaurants and foodshops. You can use the picnic tables and benches that are in the park for that if it is busy.

When me and my friends went to Efteling, we used to eat our sandwiches on the Gondoletta boats. Makes for a very relaxing lunch.

We have truly enjoyed the whole Efteling adventure as much as you all have enjoyed. The Raveleijn show was amazing. The water ride was fun. Funnel cakes looked delicious but I definately agree with you the Turkish Pizza and the Doner Kababs looked more yummy. Thank you so much for taking us with you to Efteling.💕💕

Funny part on Pirana is that there are statues from which bystanders can make people wet who are on the ride. Usually people are getting suprised by this. During bad weather the ride is still operating, but less intence/wet.

Nice series of videos, Efteling is additive, we're back there in 10days time! You never answered the "which is better? DLP or Efteling?" question. TBF, they are both great, but in different ways, we prefer Efteling.

Have you spot the efteling museum? I miss that in theme parks when you learn about the park, very interesting😊 What I also love about efteling is that people what a disability can enjoy there day easily at efteling with special ques at almost every attraction with a special pass🤗

We missed the museum but will be sure to check it on our next visit! One of our party has a disability pass and their system is very good with separate queues and waiting areas.

Loved the video's We live really close to Efteling and I grew up going every other year (expensive) my biggest love are the fairys in the waterlilies. Can remember seeing them for the first time when I was 5 (42 years ago). Winter Efteling is great too, especially magical to celebrate New Years eve there, with fireworks and champagne!

I don’t recall you having ridden Villa Volta, if you indeed missed it, I’d say you missed out and definitely should prioritise it on your next trip. One of my personal favourites.

You are right, we missed it! We have ridden a similar attraction in Legoland, made by the same company, but understand this to be the first Vekoma Mad House.

@@disneyanddaysout It is indeed the first of its kind. Won awards in 1996 for ingenuity, if I recall correctly. I really love it. The music is great. And the story is too (though I wish they added more context for the non Dutch speakers.

What another lovely vlog. Glad you loved the park. May i reccomend another dutch park for a future visit? Toverland in Sevenum in the provence of Limburg. Its a smaller park but just as themed up as the efteling. It has great coasters and a lot of great attractions for the smaller kids. Hope to see you there sometime too

​@@disneyanddaysout about an hour's drive from efteling. The park is still young (22 years old) and has yet to get their own accomodations. But there is a centreparks closeby as well as a hotel near the freeway. Reccomendations INSIDE the park: -get dinner at "the flaming feather" lovely dining with a fantasy medieval theme. -Troy. Largest wooden coaster in the Benelux. -Fenix. Amazingly themed Wingcoaster. -maximus Blitzbahn. A self controlled Bobsled. And just walking around the newesr themed area "avalon" is great too since just this year they opened 4 new rides there. Hope this helped

I have never been to Efteling before! Looks like such a great theme park and so much fun! The rides look so fun. And I love that they have show/performances too! The sword fighting and horses rushing in is so exciting. Wow cool dragon!! What a fun stage show. Mmm the profiteroles look sooo nice. They really do look like mini pancakes, yum! Love seeing all of the stuff in the gift shop. So cool that it smells incredible in there haha! Awesome vlog, looks like so much fun! Thanks for sharing with us :)

Great food tip; at Efteling it is perfectly fine to order the children’s menu as an adult. It is usually the best value for money and you get some great souvenirs that way. All our breakfast plates are souvenirs from Efteling that we got at The Poffertje, Fabula Restaurant and the restaurant in bosrijk.

When I was 25 or so I ordered the kids size poffertjes on a plate that you could take home. It has a picture of the big bad wolf on it and I still use it almost 20 years later.

Hah, they got you. The steam engine powered carousel is not actually ran on steam for a long while. The steam engine has been converted to run off of electricity. But they like to keep it realistic looking. However, the trains that run in the park are still legitimate steam engine powered trains.
