Charming French town, all that gorgeous copper that makes me drool and Louis Armstrong playing and singing La Vie En Rose in the background. Couldn’t ask for more other than to be eating a croissant while watching! Fantastique! Johanna. Maine USA

What a wonderful village. The copper artist are miracle workers! Whe you bought those pieces I thought "How can they be saved?" You have a real gift to be able to see the outcome through all of that decay.

Your enthusiasm for great craftsmanship is what keeps us coming back for more. I love the little details you input to broaden our understanding and significance of what you like to show us.This is what makes your videos so interesting, for me at least. I miss the really nice peices my mom had. Sadly they went with my dad to California. It's ok, while after seeing some of your peices, I now know that some might have been valuable. I let that go quite some time ago, but kind of still wish I had them. C'est la vie. L - from, Philadelphia PA USA 💕

A Catholic church in Houston have just had a bell made by this foundry . We were in Orleans when the bell to commemorate St Joan was in the front porch of the Cathedral, waiting for its dedication and to be hung. It looked like pure gold,in the sun , just wonderful. Useful to know that Gautier sell polish there. Also good to know they re -tin in Poelle. I have a note hanging on my copper pans (for show!) that threatens anyone who uses them gets to pay for re-tinning! I love your vlogs, they show us so many good things about France.

I like it when you talk about copper. I don't know what any of the pieces are called, how they are made, or where copper comes from In its raw state. I think it is mined but from where I don't know. Thanks for the education! Next time you go back, ask the guys working there what the process of refining copper items how they do it. I would like to know more! Thanks, Sean! Have a super week!
