The videography is impeccable in this vid as usual! Such an underrated channel IMO, you deserve so many more subs. I hope that you'll continue doing more vids like these after moving back to the states :)

Such a great and unique experience Barrett! A lot of what you showed here I had never seen before. I also think at this point if you were staying in Japan, Hoshino would need to sponsor you! The hotel, onsen, and food looked great. Thanks as always for sharing!

hahaha I'm waiting for them to contact me! Just kidding, but I realized most of my videos where I show a hotel stay is at one of theirs. Thanks for watching!

Thanks man! I’m not sure about travel related videos as much but I plan to definitely make videos!

Your strategy of ending on a "splurge" at a fancy ryokan/onsen is an interesting one, Barrett, and it seems to jibe with the results of the famous colonoscopy study that states that if the final stage is pleasant (comparatively) then one is more likely to come back (though I would take an onsen over a colonoscopy every time).

Of course we can't always do that, but if we can, we try! haha interesting, I'll definitely take an onsen trip over that as well!

how are they with non japanese speaking tourist?
@barrettish2 жыл бұрын
I didn't experience anything myself but my guess is that they're pretty good. Hoshino Resorts is a big company and I've seen their interactions with foreign tourists at other locations and they're fine.
