It is heartwarming that all of these cats look so healthy and well-groomed. You can tell they are well taken care of by how calm and trusting they are :) I would love for more of these cat cafes to be in other parts of the world so that all cats have a home to live in!

Don’t they have cat cafes in your country to? Because in Germany they opened a few in the last years and there is one in my city to, that I visited before, but there were a few cats to play with, not as many as here and lots of cat toys to play with them and the cats are shelter cats, who can be adopted from there to, so they help the shelters. And you can eat your cake with a cat on your table, beside your plate! But in ours is the rule that when cats sleep, you shouldn’t disturb them and they have a room to go and hide, when they need quiet time! Sadly this cafe had to close during Covid, like many others!

I really hope they don't declaw these cats. If so it should be stopped. Anyone who comes into a place like this should be ok with cat paws and occasional scratches.

@@Catlover-jr4mj I know of only one cafe in my city in the US and it is on the opposite end of the city, so I don't go very often! And it is small, so you must make a reservation to guarantee a seat- they limit how many are allowed in to not overwhelm the cats.

@@ravenbeast8639 Declawing has been banned in many countries and more, including in Japan. In America, many cities ban it. Not sure if all cities made it illegal and hopefully the ones that hadn't need to follow through with the ban. Not sure if any towns banned declawing. I despise hearing from those who say declawing will keep the cats from scratching furniture and from scratching anyone, knowing straight on it's an excuse to not trim their claws and cat proofing the house. An excuse to not teach a cat where they can and cannot put their claws on. Getting scratched by a cat is considered a lesson, especially to kids. Yes, getting scratched can be accidental, depending if it was accidental or on purpose. If I ever had a kid and if they get scratched, they would cry to me. I wouldn't cuddle with my maybe future kid. Kids have to learn the hard way. I remember my stepmom and dad had a cat name Puff and my half brother when he was really little would bother him and get scratched. He wouldn't get a band-aid. My twin sister got scratched, but this is by accident because she and Puff were playing, and my dad gave her a band-aid for it. Cats need their claws for everything and if people who want to declaw their cats don't deserve one. No cats for them. If I had a friend who wants to declaw their cat, I would give them the hard truth because they don't want to admit they're lazy about doing the humane way - without declawing. Declawing is cruel and it's like taking away their defense. A lot of people would agree with me since they're too many out there who are stupid and stubborn about why cats have claws to begin with.

It is a magical place! I respect Japan so much for the way they value cats🐱 and invest in them emotionally..They were so calm and well groomed as you say, because the cat culture is so respectful there. Owners adore and truly love 💘 their cats, and so they feel at ease and secure. It is vital for cats to feel safe and it's amazing to me how peaceful they are! 👍 It was like another world almost, so lovely to see such sweet Angels 🤗🌷 all together, content, enjoying treats and sometimes being naughty!😋 Thank you so much for sharing this 💖💛 💖

The gray shirt hair one with the under bite is definitely having trouble eating. Clearly that would be why his food is everywhere on floor. It has to pick it up out the bowl to eat it. I wouldn’t feed it kibble unless soften by water.Then on top of that the poor cat has trouble eating which makes it take longer to eat.then its poor food was taken away before it was done.

Nekota-kun was my favorite, but mainly because of another cat he reminds me of. When I was in college, as part of a pre-graduation celebration, my class was taken to a camp for a two day retreat. At that camp was this beat up looking cat that lived there (he was owned by the owners of the camp, I think, but they didn't take as good of care as they should've). The cat in question was missing a piece of his tail, and his lips were missing because he had contracted frost bite in the past. He was the SWEETEST cat I ever met who became obsessed with riding around on my shoulders like a parrot. Because of his beat up appearance, I took to calling him "Mange". So, yeah, Nekota-kun reminds me of Mange, who I miss quite dearly and very much consider a friend.
