We did about 5 "last" holidays with our three kids, who are now between 27 and 30. We still visit regularly even though we live in different countries. And now, we are about to start all over again, with a new granddaughter, due in January!! There are also the new joys of watching them become lovely adults finding their way in the world. The precious memories you have made on these trips will endure forever in all of your minds and you have the vlogs to help with this.

Oh, I dread this idea. I am going to crawl into a corner and cry like a baby when Largo takes off for good. Just have to think happy thoughts. You are a stronger person than I am.

I'm also not a fan of theme parks, but I was pleasantly surprised by Legoland in San Diego. Everyone was courteous and genuinely nice despite being crowded. The restaurants had good healthy food and the grounds were beautifully landscaped. Everyone had a great time, kids and adults alike.

We went when Avalon was little and we lived there. Loved it. I guess Lego figured out this theme park thing. Woo hoo!

Thumbs up for Lego. Good Danish quality. Thrilled you experienced your Legoland dream Largo. Lego is the best.
@WorldTowning5 жыл бұрын
Good Danish quality indeed. We went to the Lego House the next day. Didn't vlog it, but it was just as impressive.

Dreams do come true. A memory of a lifetime for Largo (and rest of the fam). Now please make our dreams come true with the return of the dailies.
@WorldTowning5 жыл бұрын
Exactly! Now as for the dailies, they may come back in a few weeks. We need to get through Sweden and FInland.

Omg Jessica, your sister is just like youu😁 Great to see you having a fun time. Btw, the colour of Largo’s highlights now would go great in your hair!!!!! 2:32 it's faded a little into the best colour ever Noooo, you're not ending the dailies are you???? 😭

Thanks, maybe red is next!!! We are very similar in many ways and super different in others. Makes for a fun relationship.

Exactly. I think Will was the biggest kid in the experience. He even wanted to go back to that crazy throw up ride - Ouch!

So cool to get Largo's take on LegoLand. He did a great job narrating. And I don't think Avalon has been so enthused since BookCon. I lived 5 minutes from LegoLand in Carlsbad and this one looks incredibly more awesome.
@WorldTowning5 жыл бұрын
I know - right! He is so getting into the narration thing. Like anything else, he sees Avalon enjoying it and then Largo wants in. The miniature legoland here was something else.
@leeallen4635 жыл бұрын
Great video. You should do more theme parks while the kids are still travelling with you. I have to take motion sickness tablets before i can enjoy theme parks now but other than travel, they're some of the best memories i have of being a kid and i try to resist roller coasters now but we're all just big kids really.

I completely agree. We were just in Copenhagen and unfortunately Trivoli gardens was closed. That would have been a fun one.

One of the best thing about being a foster carer, getting to play with Lego! My wife knows when I say “getting a toy for the kid” means “the big kid”, if I wasn’t a foster carer I’d probably work for Lego. Lego Master Builder is an actual job title!!!
@WorldTowning5 жыл бұрын
That would be a dream come true for Largo. He wanted to be an architect for the longest time because of Lego.

Oh yeah Legoland! You should check Lego House too, if you’re still in the country! Regarding the « last times », yes it can be scary, but at the same time, for us, there’s a a lot to look forward to (all those things they are still too little to do). It’s really nice that your 2 kids still enjoyed this!

Thanks so much Ian, Yes, only a few countries left. SO crazy to think about it like that. Today was the anniversary of the day we left the US and started traveling. Five years and still going. We are really going to miss Lemonade when we are done with Europe.

If you come in the winter, it’s mostly just Danes there, so there are barely any lines, but I will say, most of us Danes will give you a real fight at the firefighting thing. It’s easier in the summer.
