We did about 5 "last" holidays with our three kids, who are now between 27 and 30. We still visit regularly even though we live in different countries. And now, we are about to start all over again, with a new granddaughter, due in January!! There are also the new joys of watching them become lovely adults finding their way in the world. The precious memories you have made on these trips will endure forever in all of your minds and you have the vlogs to help with this.

Oh, I dread this idea. I am going to crawl into a corner and cry like a baby when Largo takes off for good. Just have to think happy thoughts. You are a stronger person than I am.

I'm also not a fan of theme parks, but I was pleasantly surprised by Legoland in San Diego. Everyone was courteous and genuinely nice despite being crowded. The restaurants had good healthy food and the grounds were beautifully landscaped. Everyone had a great time, kids and adults alike.

We went when Avalon was little and we lived there. Loved it. I guess Lego figured out this theme park thing. Woo hoo!

Good Danish quality indeed. We went to the Lego House the next day. Didn't vlog it, but it was just as impressive.

So cool to get Largo's take on LegoLand. He did a great job narrating. And I don't think Avalon has been so enthused since BookCon. I lived 5 minutes from LegoLand in Carlsbad and this one looks incredibly more awesome.
@WorldTowning
@WorldTowning 5 жыл бұрын
I know - right! He is so getting into the narration thing. Like anything else, he sees Avalon enjoying it and then Largo wants in. The miniature legoland here was something else.

Great video. You should do more theme parks while the kids are still travelling with you. I have to take motion sickness tablets before i can enjoy theme parks now but other than travel, they're some of the best memories i have of being a kid and i try to resist roller coasters now but we're all just big kids really.

One of the best thing about being a foster carer, getting to play with Lego! My wife knows when I say “getting a toy for the kid” means “the big kid”, if I wasn’t a foster carer I’d probably work for Lego. Lego Master Builder is an actual job title!!!

Oh yeah Legoland! You should check Lego House too, if you’re still in the country! Regarding the « last times », yes it can be scary, but at the same time, for us, there’s a a lot to look forward to (all those things they are still too little to do). It’s really nice that your 2 kids still enjoyed this!

If you come in the winter, it’s mostly just Danes there, so there are barely any lines, but I will say, most of us Danes will give you a real fight at the firefighting thing. It’s easier in the summer.
