Loved the Nakatsugawa area⭐️ Zen meditation, chestnut sweets, calligraphy & what a view from the castle grounds! Beautiful Nakasendo Way trail; Yumori Park was as you said: stunning⭐️

It was a great video, I used to live near Naskatsugawa for 15 years , 10 years ago. It is a wonderful place and you chose the right place to savour some great sake. Naegi castle can easily be reached on the other side and I used to stop often for a picnic. Historical note, the castle used to be up the valley in the 1200s in a place called Uenaegi (upper Naegi) in Fukoaka-cho about 10 kms north. I used to live in that neighbourhood and the ruined foundations and some tombstones are still there. Thank you again for the nice nostalgia tour!
