I’m from NYC born and raised. I work in a hospital so during the pandemic I would have to go to work and I’d be alone on the train. No one else in sight.

Thanks for the head ups, I used to live in NYC too now live in Texas, just seeing the empty streets and parks is astounding. I understand Broadway is close, MOMA is close, 5th avenue some stores close, MET is close, What is open are Highline some piers, some restaurants. 2020 is one year I will never forgive or forget. Thanks for showing us our hometown! We haven't been back to visit family in NY since March but will be going in October. Like the added outdoor dining. Sort of what is the norm in Europe! Hope outdoor dining becomes more of a thing in the US even after the virus is under control!

@@soulsistas137 Not sure if you are asking me or Raya but our trip to NY is not until the end of Oct. Since we are flying in, the current rule is 14 days of quarantine since we are from SC. Will see what happens!

Yes you are required to Quarantine for 14 days.

@@sharkyglz5123 you will still have to Quarantine for the remainder of your visit IF you are traveling from a state that is level 2 or 3 (check the nys website). Option 2, get tested before you visit and retest on your 3rd day of arrival to wave the quarantine order. Again this is if you are traveling from 1 of the 19 states listed on the nys website. If your state or country is at cd2 or cd3 you will have to Quarantine. Hope this helps😇

@@e_a1210 so I said screw it and booked a flight and arrived today. We needed to come for my girlfriends grandmas funeral, not covid related thankfully. We had to fill out a form online when the plane landed and another similar form when we got to the hotel. It basically just asked you if you have any symptoms and tells you about the 14 day quarantine. Other than that, that's it. Even the hotel told us they can't physically keep us quarantined and what not. There's still plenty of out of town people coming here for whatever reason. Just use common sense, use your mask and keep away from other people. Like I said, this is my first day and so far so good.

I’d love to visit America again but I just personally think the way Trump has handled things has been absolutely diabolical.
