It really does no disappoint, it's just as good as you imagine it is. Best place in the world. For a 3-4 week trip it costs a total of $3-4.5k for flights, hotel 3/4-star accommodation and all the activities you can think of + spending money. Yes, that includes a JDM rental for Hakone/Fuji touge driving for a day. It's not expensive, definitely achievable! we do it every year :)
