Poznan, so nice. I'm so happy I decided to make this Poland trip. It was only a last minute replacement trip after my trip to Kenya was cancelled because of covid-19. So happy in the end that it was cancelled. I have met so many nice people on this trip and it is a beautiful country as well. 😁

In the Citadel Park Poznań there is also a cemetery of Allied soldiers. All participants of the Great Escape are buried there. You remember the movie The Great Escape with Steve McQueen. kzbin.info/www/bejne/f2jZeKydnr96jpY

@Robbie, dank voor de tip van de Palmenkas met o.a. een aquarium. Ga waarschijnlijk medio dit jaar deze stad weer eens bezoeken en in dit geval met mijn pa, hij houd heel erg van vijvers en aquaria naast mooie cultuur in steden, echt een man van de natuur en oude architectuur. Robbie over dat Keizerlijk paleis in Posen/Poznan. De hele stationsbuurt is gebouwd in Grunderzeitarchitectuur en dus enigzins vergelijkbaar met Straatsburg, maar zeker Metz. Metz lag toen in het zuidwesten van het Duitse Keizerrijk en Posen/ Poznan in het oosten van dat rijk

Duitse migranten uit de 18e eeuw, die daar onder de Saksisch-Poolse Koningen Augustus II en III zijn komen wonen nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bamberkafontein en nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Posener_Bambergers gaat over deze groep die heden ten dage daar nog steeds leven
