The Island is great to visit for many outside the Island but to live there it is not worth it due to politics Electricity problem that has many towards 99% dissatisfaction, gentrification, high prices housing problems for the low-medium income families, and higher taxes forced to the poor, for if you r white and rich you are highly favored and have beneficial tax incentives that make them richer. The consistent masacres towards the young and massive incarceration for the young as the weaponized cannabis is rampant throughout the Island for the young people as well to support these habits they take to the streets for the lack of Jobs. Such a beautiful Island which the people are losing it today. There are problems almost everywhere in the world but this Island is in its worst situation today than 20-30 years ago. Thanks for watching! You are definitely not wrong. Puerto Rico is an amazing island, a natural beauty but to live there full time is almost a dream turned into nightmare. Sad reality that Puertoricans live with electricity problems on a regular basis, housing problems, political instability, etc. Time will flush away the bad energy and people out of the island and this beautiful island will be a desirable place to live once again 🙏🏻 Take care as well my friend, blessings!

I am from Belize, grew up in Chicago but have lived in Puerto Rico for the last 4 years and these statements are inaccurate. If you think Porto Rico is “ unlivable “ , then you haven’t traveled much around the states. California, Illinois, New York, New Jersey are all 900 times worse than anything Puerto Rico has to offer. Try walking down the street at night on any side of Chicago. You will get robbed raped or murdered and that is factual. It’s a shame that people look at the island like that when the way of life in the united states is a hell. American politics are worse right now than anywhere else in the world. Smh

@@MAXIMOLAMB9201 Hi I lived in Puerto Rico for 28 years, Chicago for 2 years and Florida for 10 years and Puerto Rico is worst off than these places mentioned above by far. Yes in Chicago you get robbed at night if you are around the wrong area. In Florida you have racism, lots of white crazy kids and latino violence that goes around but Puerto Rico has all that with a more corrupt and inefficient justice system that doesn’t help the community. In Puerto Rico the poor stay poor because your poor neighbors will constantly steal from other poor people. The young generations don’t want to work or be responsible, all they want to do is listen to reggeaton and aspire to be “gangsters” 🤦🏻‍♂️ Lots of people are well under educated which makes it even harder for the island to move forward with progress and understanding from their citizens. Trust me Puerto Rico is a beautiful natural paradise but living there is not for everyone, especially if you are used to having multiple resources available at all times…
