Morning guys, another beautiful tour. St Martin looked amazing and so historic. I loved the houses and streets and the harbour seemed beautiful and peaceful looking. Nice lighthouse too. That Japanese Garden looked soo big but then you said it was Europes largest. Loved the water areas and the sound of it. Really beautiful ~ Anna 👍

We only found this garden by chance. It was very enjoyable. St Martin has long been a favourite of ours. Lovely atmosphere around the harbour.

The Ile De Re is a lovely place to explore and we have been drawn back several times. Nearby La Rochelle is our usual base but this time we decided to stay on the island. The garden we found by chance while browsing on the internet the evening before. We were just checking out any additional places of interest en route to our next destination. Saw the sign at the beginning that stated St Martin de Ré is twinned with Esperance in Western Australia. An interesting combination, Esperance is an isolated beach town (and port) over 700km from Perth, which is the most isolated capital city in Australia. It does have stunning beaches but no old and historic stone buildings. The Japanese gardens were lovely, the red bridges in Japanese gardens always contrast so well with all the greenery.

We visited Esperance stopping for just one night on a road trip in Western Australia some years ago. After landing in Perth we made our way to Kalgoorlie before turning south to Esperance and then following the coast back to Perth. I do remember some amazing beaches nearby. We have long wanted to explore more of WA. St Martin is a lovely place to take things easy and enjoy life. Thanks for watching.

Lovely own and amazing Japanese Gardens! Did you feel transported to Japan? It’s wonderful to see all the various elements of the Japanese garden, including the red bridge and how the evergreens and trees are trimmed. Beautiful lake and of course, pretty Koi fish too! 🧡🧡

It was a lovely place to visit. A couple of hours passed in no time at all. We like most types of garden and those Japanese inspired ones are particularly lovely. Our favourite so far has to be Portland OR. We saw that when it was at its peak Autumn colour. Glad you liked this.

I love seeing these Japanese gardens. I think the best one I ever visited was in San Antonio Texas. The one in San Francisco was pretty good too but it was so long ago when I visited there. I like how you show something here and then zoom out to show how far away the camera is. I tried this in one of my recent films, and Gen noticed that it was different from my normal style and really liked the shot. I owe the technique to you. Thanks. You showed some beautiful scenery here. It must take a lot of work to maintain and trim everything so precise. Wonderful. 👍
