That was awesome! Wife and I were there in the summer of 2006 and the restaurant was about to close for the day. I was able to go inside and take pictures of Airwolf photos on the wall. Last year, summer of 2023, we stopped there again along with the kids. Of course, the kids were looking at me like I am crazy. I was just disappointed that the Desert Center location is eroding away.

Don't think I mentioned it but it was 107F out and I had to walk at least a 1/2 mile round trip to that wash area. Thanks for watching and the appreciation!

I'm guessing it's no small coincidence that this video starts out the exact same way as the Sweet Britches episode with the shot of the road going off into the distance and the sound of the desert wind? Don't think I didn't catch that, bc I did! Nice touch! :)

I visited Desert Center today. It's still the same, the buildings are still there, only more graffiti on the walls.
