Come along with me on my three part series to the Azores! First stop, Terceira!
Hello, my name is Andrea and my family is from the Azores, Portugal. I am very passionate about my family heritage and keeping the culture alive as a first generation Luso American. I hope you subscribe and come along with me as we visit three of the islands of the Azores.
This was filmed Summer of 2019. When uploading this, we are in the midst of of the Covid Crisis. I hope that when "this" is all over I can visit each of the 9 Islands to film a proper documentary on what makes the Azores so special to me!

I was stationed there in 75 -76. It was paradise back then. The local wine "vinche" is the best in the world, made only on the island. Best things were the beautiful women and bullfights. Abrigado

My husband is from terceira but from ribeirinha he's close to Angra do heroísmo my older son loves it there

June for the Sanjoaninas or August for Festas da Praia :-) There really inso bad time to visit..

What did you use for the video camera? Gopro?

No just my phone. I have an iPhone X and I edit with Adobe Premiere. The trick is, in settings you can change the quality. I changed mine to 1080 at 60fps. My phone also allows 4K recording but for the amount of footage I was recording, it would have taken up way too much space
